Heyy
Its not quite the end yet, but its not far off!
There is still a lot of drama to get through (:.......
Troy drove us out of Boston and went north, we ended up in Washington.
I was very confused, it was nearing three a.m and we had managed to do nearly eight hours worth of driving in a day.
I was exhausted to say the least.
Troy made us trek up a hill, we were basically in the middle of nowhere and probably looked a sight.
Scar was weak and tired in her wheel chair, mom and dad looked weary, Keegs looked like he might drop to sleep any second and Cam just looked as confused as me. Troys mom went back to the summer house, to look over it.
When we reached the top, everyone collapsed with exhaustion, the sky turning a dark red.
"Why are we here?" I ask wearily.
"Just wait. All of you keep your eyes open."
So we did, Troy held Scar's hand.
Then it happened.
At 3:12 am the sun rose. It was spectacular, bursts of orange, red and shimmering yellow surrounded the sun. The birds chirped at the rising light. I gasped at the beauty.
Scar's eyes widened as if she couldn't comprehend the sight before her. First the stars and then sunrise. It was a mesmerising day for all of us.
"Washington Hill is notorious for the sunset, but one time I saw the sunrise here and since we were in Boston I had to show you it." He explains to Scar, she kisses him on the head, tears streaming down her face. Tears pricked my eyes too.
We decided to head back to my house, my parents set up sleeping bags, gave my bed to Scar and we called it a day.
For some odd reason I couldn't get to sleep, instead I was oddly nostalgic and was remembering some distinct memories.
Four years ago~
"Scar!" I ran in my denim cutoffs across the wooden floor.
"Shay?" Scar's head popped around the door.
"Jeremy Lee asked me to go penny boarding with him!" I said with glee, Jeremy Lee was the hottest ninth grader in Rhode Island, I was beyond stoked that he asked me out.
"Thats great hun!" I wandered into the kitchen following her. Scar was making sweet bread. Sweet bread was just white bread covered in icing sugar, it was the bomb.
Then I spotted Troy playing some game on his nintendo. He was always on that these days.
Surprisingly he looked at me and asked,"Whose Jeremy Lee?"
I was surprised he heard, so I told him and he didn't seem very happy.
So I stopped talking about Jeremy Lee.
~~~~
Looking back, I realised Troy was jealous and that we were always meant to be together.
I was never happy to see him with a girl and he hated when I was with other male company.
It took so long for this to happen and we were finally here.
Troy slept in his bag next to me, he dropped dead the minute he hit the sleeping bag.
His hair was flopped all over his face and he looked so serene sleeping.
I brushed his hair out of his eyes, lightly.When I was about to turn away, his arm gripped me and pushed me on his torso.
He was awake?! Wow I look creepy.
"Don't go." He whispers.
So I stay wrapped up in my boyfriends arms for the rest of the night.
........
Bittersweet moments!:(
