'Let the stars align and all hope will be rekindled' ~N

I had spent a lot of time with Nina recently.
After neglecting her for mourning Scar''s death, I had hardly seen her.
So I called her over and had a girly sleepover. I really missed her, i just had shut her out and it was great to have her back in.
I was picking up the pieces getting my life back together.
I tried calling Troy again, he didn't pick up. His mom seems to e trying to make more of an effort to be there for her boys.
Troy won't talk to anyone and according to his roommate he either stays cooped up in his room or gets drunk. Keegs was working at his grades and Cam trying to become football captain.
When Nina came over she told me about her grandma who died when she was eight. She told me that he was great and was healthy women, but died of a heart attack. Nina explained that even though it was sad there is a life after pain and maybe even a better life for those gone. This wasn't her religious belief just her own wish. A comfort.
I liked that.
My parents had taken my advice and things were almost back to normal. Yes we were sad, but not all the time.

On my fifteenth birthday my parents bought me a record player.
At first I wasn't at all happy,I mean who wanted a dusty old record player?
But then I was introduced to vinyl.
The best creations, every groove plays a song, with such a distinct sound. My record player became my most prized possession.
I became obsessed, raiding vintage stores and record shops for Oasis albums and The Stone Roses. Even Nina got into it until she got an ipod.
I remember one day in the post, it was Valentines Day and I didn't get a single rose from any boy.
Nina got two.
Then when I got home, a big pink envelope awaited me.
Inside was an Oasis vinyl, my favourite band of all time. A letter was attatched to it saying :
Wonderwall is my favourite song, a good first dance for a wedding!
Enjoy!
Happy Valentines Day my beautiful Shay!
