16. Double Cross

Yoongi was sitting in the investigation room with his eyes fixed on jimin who was sitting in front of him with his legs crossed on each other. Glaring straight in Yoongi's eyes.

Yoongi could feel another officers were watching him through the one way mirror which was present in the room too. His one has was tied on table with a handcuff. His eyes were plain speaking nothing meanwhile jimin had anger, hate and pride in his eyes.

Yoongi could see jimin had earpod in his ears obviously getting commands from his seniors.

"So Mr. Min yoongi ? Wanna say something?"

Yoongi didn't said anything just keep staring at jimin who sighed loudly and leaned before yoongi so that he could see yoongi closely.

Yoongi didn't react anything neither even blink his eyes. He just glance at the mirror and then jimin.

"Aren't you shocked or curious to know why I did all this huh ?"

"Isn't it obvious? To trap me ?"

Jimin chuckled when yoongi said that with blank voice.

"So min yoongi, you trapped in your hell but this is my hell. Meet senior inspector of CID, Inspector Park jimin."

"MIN.JIMIN."

Yoongi said that with his deep voice which sent shiver through the jimin but Jimin didn't show anything just cleared his throat and looked away.

"And if you think I didn't know about this then you are wrong, I know about you even before getting married."

Jimin widened his eyes. His lips parted in shock. It seemed like his hands got lost of the energy. He just looked at yoongi with his Bambi eyes which made yoongi smirk even more.

"Park jimin, an orphan, a 26 years old CID officer. Got his posting in the 2020 in Busan. 6 months ago you got promotion as the senior officer and you were transferred here in Seoul. In June, you got a case of mafia Min yoongi. Since then, you were keeping eye on my every activity and decided not to go directly but going in my insides to break me from there. Am I right officer Min jimin ???"

Jimin clenched his jaw and banged his both hands on the table standing up from his chair looking at yoongi with his red teary eyes.

Was he failed In his mission? Yoongi already knew everything???

"If you knew everything, why the hell you did all this drama of job and marriage huh ???"

Yoongi smirked and leaned back on the chair while crossing his legs.

"You seemed interesting character min jimin. No one had guts even in police to do any operation against and you - you have guts to handcuff me in this lock up. Isn't it interesting?"

Jimin's all confidence got vanished but still he tried not to remove his eyes from Yoongi. He keep staring in his eyes like the war will held so soon.

"If you find me interesting then you should keep me in your basement cruel mafia ? Why Trapping in this marriage huh ?"

"Cause that's more tough punishment for you. That day, when you entered in the vip section of club. I saw how you looked at my gun. You pretended to get scared, but the way you looked at my index finger. Your eyes travelled to left direction just to predict where my bullet will go if I shoot that time. You every action was screaming that you were someone who has great knowledge of this all. But when I shot bullet at that man you pretended like you are even watching blood for first time. Ain't I right ? Mr. Park jimin .....?"

Jimin didn't say anything just kept looking at yoongi who was having devilish smirk on his face.

"So bad of you, Mr. Yoongi... Despite knowing this all, you tried to feed snake who is about to Destroy you ?"

"Snake..?"

Yoongi looked away while chuckling and looked at jimin again.

"You think you can destroy Min yoongi?"

"Look at you yoongi, you are here..in my Lock up, handcuffs in your hand. isn't it enough to bring you down...your all data is exposed to the police. You are now destroyed. "

Jimin said with proud smirk on his face. But that turned int frown when yoongi started laughing like a maniac which he already is.

"1......2......3......"

Yoongi counted to the three and door opened revealing taehyung with some guard and lawyer. Jimin looked at him with hai glare.

"Anyone can't enter here like this...!"

That's when he saw his senior entering with taehyung. Taehyung didn't look at jimin. He saw yoongi sitting on the chair with hai handcuffs on that made him clench his fist in anger. His veins were popping on his forehead.

"Leave him."

Jimin just observed him and smirked.

"Sorry, Mr. Kim taehyung. Yoongi is arrested as crimin-

"Sorry to say park Jimin, but you didn't give any evidence for that. You can't arrest Mr. Min like that."

Jimin frowned at lawyer who said it very politely.

"What the hell are you talking Mr. I have all evidences. I have already submitted them to the court. I even have arrest warrant of Mr. Min yoongi. "

"No. Mr. Park jimin. The evidence you prooved was all false. The court has rejected them already. It's not Mr. yoongi's data. You have submitted all the false details and saying that they are Mr. Min's."

Jimin shut his eyes tightly. He started walking back and forth while yoongi was there casually sitting and was staring at him.

"The evidences are all about Ms. Yoonji, who is not alive right now. She is Mr. Yoongi's twin sister. As we know she isn't alive this all evidences will go in vain as we can't punish someone else for her dids. Court has already gave letter to leave yoongi."

Lawyer gave jimin letter who snatched it away and read it. He shit his eyes frustratedly and threw that letter. Jimin's senior just shook his head and ordered officers to leave yoongi. They set him free.

Jimin didn't look at yoongi but yoongi stood up and made his outfit correct. He came towards jimin who was standing there with his arms folded on his chest. He went there and leaned towards jimin's ear.

"It's true that you got all evidences Mr. Park. But remember, they can get exchanged before handling them to judge. So better luck next time ...!"

He smiled at jimin who greeted his teeth and left. Everyone in the room left except jimin's senior who came towards him and out his hand on his shoulder.

"Jimin, I didn't expect that you will do this mistake. Maybe you didn't see evidences correctly. I won't bear mistakes like this next time. Hope you get that."

He ptted his shoulder and left from there leaving jimin who grabbed the chair in anger.

He picked up the chair and threw on the mirror which scattered into glass pieces making a loud thumb.

Jimin breathed heavily and clenched his fist. His eyes were red and so as his face too.

"I won't leave you min yoongi. Never in my life I did a single mistake in my job and you prooved me fool huh ???.... You made this all go in vain. One day for sure you will realise what I do to devils like you."
