Laughing Jack x Male!reader

CH. 52

"Wow, I didn't get a forehead kiss but they do?" You heard Jack's voice from behind you when you closed (y/s)'s room door.

You chuckled after getting over the initial shock that came from his sudden appearance behind you. "It's not funny." He grumbled spitefully as crouched down to your level while he sulked.

"Oh you're such a baby" you mocked him, reaching out to ruffle his hair as you talked to him in a high pitched tone that seemed to annoy him further. "Quit babying me!" He groaned, swatting your hands away as he looked down at the floor in hopes of avoiding your gaze.

Calming your laughter you let out a small sigh, a smirk playing itself upon your features as you reached out again, this time cupping his face as best as you could and tilted his head up. "How dramatic.." You huffed momentarily before placing a small peck against the corner of his mouth, your lips leaving behind a phantom feeling on his face.

He let out a gasp when you pulled away, his hand coming up to feel at the area where you had kissed him as he coughed to distract from the growing blush that was starting to creep up onto his face.

"You missed." He claimed suddenly with boldness and a hint of a smirk in his tone as he motioned to his lips causing you to grow flustered as well.

"If you want that you'll have to get it yourself." You shrugged, a smug grin mimicking his appearance on your face. He huffed out a small 'fine.' as you two fell into silence, waiting for either one of you to speak up again or make a move..

Jack seemed to hesitate momentarily before inching closer, his lips brushing against yours as you leaned in, his hands coming to wrap around your waist. It felt overwhelming, your face was burning up with blush. The kiss didn't last long and as you both pulled away your gazes redirected in opposite directions, way too flustered to even face the other at the moment.

At least you guessed one thing right.. He did taste like candy.
