The next morning you awoke to.. nothing in particular, no unique noises.. only the warm presence of a body pressed up to your side, large hands coiled around you possessively. Feeling hot and sweaty you began to slowly weave your way out of his hold, trying your best to not make him as you threw the blankets off, only pausing when you realize you're familiar surroundings.

Your room? You were back?? How..?

Taking a good look around you also noted you were already re-dressed, thankfully.

Jumping up you shivered slightly, the freezing morning air making itself known as it blew through the cracked open window of the bedroom. Walking over to shut it you paused for a few seconds to relish in the fresh air, filling your lungs with its coolness before closing the window back up.

Shuffling stirred up from the bed which you'd left just seconds ago, grumbles leaving Jack's mouth as he brought the blanket back over himself, the thick cloth looking almost humorously small on him as it only covered a little over half the large clown's body.

Leaning over you places a kiss against his cheek before leaving the room, pacing around the hallway before reaching the end, your hand hesitated as the door of (y/s)'s room creaked open.

Your feet carried you on their own, sitting down on their bed you sighed, dropping your head into your hands. Where were they?? Why did all this have to happen..

Wallowing in your own sorrow you failed to notice Jack had followed after you when you'd stepped into the hallway, now kneeling at your side- unsure if he should reach out or leave you be so you could have a moment for yourself.

A gentle pat was felt on your back, making you turn your head up at its owner, letting out a smile at the sight.

Leaning down, Jack would rest his head on your shoulder, making you wobble a bit to catch your balance before reciprocating, arms wrapping around him in a tight hug.
