"C'mon man can we just go home." You sighed in relief as you noticed your success. "I'm hungry, let's go." You tugged forward, noting he was still holding onto your coat's hood.
The sight was honestly hilarious, it looked like a little kid holding onto their parents.
Whatever higher godly being existed, you wanted to thank it because for the rest of the walk home Jack didn't bother you at all, making the walk home at least a little satisfying.
After you got home (y/s) was already there, running up to you with childish glee when they noticed you walk through the door.
"Hey (y/s), already home?" You chuckled, picking them up to the best of your abilities, they've grown so much!
"I came home some time ago, I was looking for Jack!" They said, rolling around in your arms which made holding them slightly more challenging.
"Oh- uh.. he was with me at the store, I got you both some treats." You readjusted your grip on them slightly as you walked further into the house, heading into the kitchen.
"I'm so happy my two best friends are getting along!" They giggled happily, throwing their hands in the air when you set them back down.
"Yeaah!.." You said, trying to mimick their excitement, taking the time to glare at Jack while (y/s) wasn't looking.
"Do you have any homework?" You turned back to them after you were done glaring daggers at the tall and annoying clown.
"I had to write one thing about every family member, I finished it already. Can Jack and I watch paw patrol?" They grabbed their textbook that was in the dining room and showed you their homework as they shifted in place, eager to hear your reply to their question.
"Yeah sure go ahead, I'll join you two in a minute." You sighed after checking through their textbook.
