At the Cloud Top, Uriel gives his speech from the last episode.
Uriel: Friends, in recent weeks Tal'Dorei has been beset by evil. Wearing the faces of monsters and men. But sadly, that judgment was greatly corrupted. The truth is, I allowed strangers into our midst, entrusting them with power they shouldn't have.
Vox Machina stands proudly in the crowd.
Uriel: Vox Machina saved us from this threat. My weakness put the realm in jeopardy. But I vow to never again.
Uriel's family stands next to him as Uriel looks at his wife and holds her hand. He then looks at his three children before looking back at the crowd.
Uriel: And so with humility, I hereby renounce the throne and see the government to the council of Tal'Dorei!
Everyone gasps and begins to whisper among others.
Uriel: These wise patriots shall ensure, that Emon stands forever.
The crowd then cheers.
Uriel: Now in addition to the council members you already know. We will be adding a few more new ones...
As Uriel continues to talk, Vax feels a screeching noise in her head causing her to grab it in pain. The others realize this and Vax holds his sister confused.
Vax: Vex? You alright?
Uriel: Specifically, pillars of the community who had helped up-
Suddenly the bell tower begins to go off, causing everyone to look confused. Uriel then sees something in the distance. On closer inspection, his eyes widen realizing what they were...
Uriel: Gods above us...
Ren looks back and realizes what they are.
Ren: No... Not again...
Four large dragons were seen in the sky, as they flew toward the castle.

The first was a sort of white dragon with ice on its back, the second was a tall green dragon, the third was a black dragon, and the last was a red dragon with a crystal on its chest. They then begin to split up across the kingdom.
They continue to fly toward the castle as the townsfolk look into the sky and watch the dragons in horror.
At the Cloud Top, everyone was still confused.
Gilmore: Alarm bells? I suddenly feel overdressed.
