The Sunken Tomb

Through the ruins of Emon, a bunch of survivors were lined up as they carried items.

Pike comes out of an alleyway and follows the line. It leads her directly to the ruins of the castle as much gold and treasure are piled up in front of them. Pike then sees Thordak standing in front of this treasure as he looks at the survivors.

Thordak: Your offerings grow ever shorter.

The rest of the Chroma Conclave then flies past the crowd and perches around Thordak.

Thordak: *Looks at the other dragons* I trust the remaining treasure has been run from Emon? 

Raishaun: *Bows* As you commanded, Thordak. Every last ounce, delivered to your feet.

Umbrasyl: And Westruun is on the brink of ruin, my king.

Thordak: More are soon to follow, and once all is in order, the realm shall quake in our shadow.

Thordak looks down at the survivors as lightning strikes in the background.

Thordak: As for your kind, it seems your useless bobbles are no longer needed.

The survivors gasp in horror as Pike looks back at them.

Pike: Run! RUN!!!

The survivors and Pike begin to run away as Thordak breathes out a huge breath of dragon fire at them.

Pike looks back as the fire takes her and she immediately wakes up in the forest. 

She was panicked and sweated, as Vox Machina except for Vax looked at Pike confused.

Grog: *Slowly approaches Pike* Woah, woah... *Places his hand on her shoulder* You alright?

Pike: No. The dragons... They're moving... Expanding across Tal'Dorei...

Grog: *Surprised* You saw them in your head?

Pike: A vision... Granted by the Everlight. Th-The red one.

Ren: Thordak.

Pike: Yes. You heard of that name?

Ren: He was the one who led the Great Purge of Paldalore. I saw him.

Pike: *Still shaken* The survivors. He just... wiped them out. *Stars to tear up* I couldn't save them.

Pike begins to cry and Grog quickly gives her a comforting hug as Pike continues to cry on his chest.

The others watch before Keyleth looks at them.

Keyleth: I know we come from all over. But, Emon, was the first place that accepted us. It kinda felt like... our home.

Percy: They even gave us a title.

Vex: *Stands up from her rock* And we'll live up to it. When we find the tomb and find that fucking Vestige.

At that moment, Vax returned and landed on top of the rock Vex was sitting on earlier.

Vax: Well, I've got good news and bad news on that front.

Scanlan: Kay, good stuff first.

Vax: I found the lake Osysa told us about over the next ravine.

Vex: Fantastic, let's go.

Percy: Wait. 

Vex stops and Percy looks at Vax

 Percy: The bad news?

Vax doesn't say anything. The party then arrives at the lake.
