"Scott?" The girl whispered again, taking a step forward in our direction. Tears gathered quickly in her eyes and when she took another step, a tear fell slowly down her cheek. "Is that really you?"

"Cassidy," Scott choked out, causing the girl to scream loudly and for the rest of us to wince from the sound.

"Oh my God, Scott!" The girl screamed, running to Scott and launching herself into his arms. Scott winced from the sudden impact but returned the hug, just as fiercely.

"Hey Cass," Scott said softly, tears forming in his eyes too. "I'm finally home sis."

"Cassidy? What's wrong?"A male's voice yelled out, barging into the room that we were in. He took in everyone in the room with a glance and for a moment, his body tensed up, before his eyes landed on Scott and the girl, Cassidy. He froze in an instant.

"What the fuck," he whispered, his eyes growing as big as saucers. "S-Scott? "

He looked like he was in his late teens and his facial features and red hair suggested that he might be related to Scott.

It was then that I finally registered where exactly we teleported to. There was a bed placed in the corner of the room, with the blankets scrunched up into a ball. Posters were littered on the walls in the room, with majority of them having pictures of Spiderman on them.

Remembering how Scott had on a Spiderman shirt when I first met him in the basement, I can only assume we were in his old bedroom.

"Hey John," Scott said tightly, giving the guy a watery smile. "It's me."

"Holy shit," John said slowly, walking over to the siblings. "I-I don't believe it. You're okay. How?"

A simple question with a not so simple answer.

I wouldn't even know where to begin and from the conflicted look entering Scott's eyes, I knew he felt the same.

Scott finally sighed in response, turning briefly to us. Cassidy and John also turned their attention to us, before looking back at Scott. They wore looks of confusion now.

Cassidy was holding onto Scott's hands with her nails digging into his the back of his hands. I could see the indents forming from where I was standing.

"Who are they?" Cass squeaked out, her eyes lingering back to the rest of us. She made eye contact with me and her lips parted as she gave me a slow once-over.

A look of horror dawned on her face and I could only guess the state that I was in. There was no mirror in the room, but the blood caked on my hands and under my nails gave me a general idea of what she was seeing.

"These are my friends," Scott responded, giving us a tight nod. All eyes turned to him again. "That's Cameron, Orion and Arlo, Alphas of our neighbouring packs. And that's Ariel and...Fuck."

"What?" Cameron and Arlo echoed at the same time but I didn't even need Scott to answer as I realized what was wrong.

"Leon," I whispered, feeling guilt wash all over me again. It was only for a moment and it  could've been either our faults that we lost each other's hand, but the guilt still stabbed me hard in my stomach.

"Who?" John demanded, his eyes narrowed on me now. I didn't explain though as I attempted to run past him without success.

He grabbed my hand, forcing me to halt in my tracks. A rush of anger instantly washed over my body.

"Let me go!" I gritted out, and that was more or less echoed by my boys in the room.

"What the fuck is going on?" John demanded, addressing Scott but still maintaining his grip on my hand. "How are you alive? We all thought you died years ago! And who is the girl?"
