"Just leave us alone!" Ariel shouted, as her pupils became dilated and her canines peaked out of her mouth.

She looked feral as her eyes kept bouncing around the room, staring deeply at the five of us in the room. I didn't want to admit it but she looked terrifying. Even my legs began to shake slightly and I gulped loudly, when her wide dark eyes landed on me. I was about to piss myself, and I was pretty sure that I wasn't the only one who felt this way.

The power she was exuding dominated in the room and I realized that this girl must be very special, considering how the other Alphas in the room looked scared-shitless as well. Even Trenton looked pale knowing that all he did today was insult her in more ways than one.

Since she wasn't chained up like us, Ariel slowly stood up from the spot she was sitting on, and walked slowly around in circles mumbling incoherent words every few seconds. Every so often, she would stop herself and clench her hand in a fist before throwing a punch at the wall. The impact of the punch left a dent on the murky walls, but that didn't stop her from repeating her actions. Every booming sound that was made, resulted in me flinching back. She was wild.

This no longer looked or acted like the girl we knew seconds ago. While Ariel was shy and innocent, the wolf inside her was everything but. Irrational, anger, and impatience were only some of the words that can be used to describe her wolf.

But I suppose it was understandable and I started to feel guilty. We had no right to invade in her personal life if she didn't want us to in the first place.

"Please Ariel, you need to calm down or you'll get hurt. If Lucius or his father hears the noise you're making, they'll come downstairs and sedate your wolf again," Arlo pleaded, while his voice was coated with urgency. I gulped again. I wish for his sake, that he had kept his mouth shut.

In a speed, quicker than any wolves I have ever seen in my life, she grabbed Arlo by the throat and slammed him against the wall. I gasped and the others in the room froze in amazement or fear. I couldn't tell.

Arlo groaned by the impact but did not fight back. All he did was stare at Ariel who was glaring at him with hate and mistrust. Goosebumps started appearing around my arms when Ariel opened her mouth to speak.

"No you listen to me Arlo and you listen to me well. I have no reason to trust you, or any one of you for that matter. If Ariel does not want to share information with you, I suggest you listen to her boy," Ariel's wolf spoke in a powerful voice making me shiver in awe. This girl...she is definitely something else.

When Arlo didn't respond back and continued to look at Ariel in a pleading expression, I decided to speak up before things turned ugly.

"Ariel," I whispered in a soft tone praying that she would calm down. I choked on my own spit, when Ariel's head swirled to me. Get a grip on yourself, Orion. She's only ten.

I took a deep breath before talking again in a gentle voice. I really wanted her to trust us, or at least me.

"We are in the same position as you, Ariel. If you don't want to tell us about yourself, then that is fine. We are sorry that we invaded your personal space. But please, for your own sake, calm down. We don't want you to get hurt again."

As I was saying my speech, Ariel's eyes fortunately started turning back to her normal eyes. Her tensed shoulders started to relax and she began to control her breathing. She gazed at me with her mesmerizing bluish-black eyes, and I found it hard to look away from her.

"Why should I trust you?" she whispered, sounding more tired than anything.

"I know you're afraid, Ariel, but so are we. Our packs might not have ties with each other, but that doesn't mean we can't help each other out. We're on the same boat here and the more we work together, the quicker we can get out of here," I gently told her hoping I reached my point across.
