7:3 Sorcerer Nanami Kento

"Let me introduce office work dropout, sorcerer Nanami Kento!" Gojo announced cheerily. He had his arm thrown over a man who gave off heavy office worker vibes. Suit and tie included.

"Please don't call me that." Nanami said flatly, arms crossed.

Gojo ignored him and continued. "See there are a lot of weirdos among Jujutsu sorcerers, but Nanami is a former office worker so he is reliable."

"So" Yuji began. "Why are you a dropout or whatever?"

Haku snorted at Yuji's absolutely nonchalant, unintentional burn. Nanami sighed. "How about we introduce ourselves first." Nanami looked over Haku and Yuji.

"Itadori Yuji. Nice to meet you." Yuji bowed politely.

Haku gave a small wave. "Um, Namikaze Haku. Nice to meet you Nanami"

Nanami leaned back and continued. "What I learned at Jujutsu High is... Jujutsu sorcerers suck! Then working in an office I learned that working like that sucks! So I took the lesser of the two evils. That's all. I may not agree with everything Gojo does, but i do trust him." Haku looked to see Gojo preening at being praised. What she did not expect was what Nanami said next. "However I do not respect him!" Pft. She covered her mouth to not laugh. "I may not agree with a lot of how things are run, but I follow the rules unlike him." Nanami sighed. "Sorry for rambling."

Nanami looked at the Yuji and Haku harshly. "That's why I do not acknowledge you two as sorcerers. One has the demon Sukana in him and the other is supposed to be sealed away for being a danger to the power balance. So prove to me you are really meant to be sorcerers."

Haku and Yuji exchanged determined glances. "Right!" Being resealed was hardly an option with the Kamikaze clan gone, and there was no way she was sitting on her hands inside another barrier for the rest of her life.

Yuji continued to talk to Nanami while Haku turned to Gojo. "We aren't getting set up to get killed again while you're away are we?" She knew the higher ups had sent them to their deaths on purpose in hopes of getting rid of Yuji, and thus Sukuna. Such failure would also grant them reason to rip Haku from Jujutsu High and her chance at a somewhat normal life.

Gojo chuckled and patted Haku's head. "No. Nanami really is reliable. Don't worry, he'll take care of ya'." He trusted Nanami fully, in more ways than one. Otherwise he would just drag Haku along with him. Though that would be a whole mess, given his destination. Wait, she did not have a passport. He was suddenly really glad he could trust Nanami.

Haku blushed a little. "I'm mostly worried about Yuji." She did not know why, but the sorcerers act of affection made her strangely nervous. She cut her eye back up at him.

"It'll be alright!" Gojo turned and waved as he walked off. "See ya' later Haku-chan!" Haku watched him walk off then went to join Yuji and Nanami.

Footsteps of residual cursed energy led Haku, Yuji, and Nanami to the roof of the cinema building. For everything Nanami said about not seeing them as sorcerers, he did take the time to explain residuals to Yuji and guide the boy in detecting them. He really was a good guy like Gojo said. Haku felt she would be able to trust him no matter what. "There was nothing caught on video to explain what happened." Nanami explained. "It was likely cursed spirits, but it is possible the boy on video was involved." The video had shown a boy about the victims age take note of the incident before running off without reporting it. 

As they exited the stairway and stepped outside, a deformed looking curse was waiting for them. Haku got in a fighting stance and Yuji went to run forwards only for Nanami to stop them. "I'll take care of this one. You two focus on that one. If you have any trouble, let me know."
