Cursed Womb

Haku, Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara stood listening to Ichiji explain levels of curses and the situation they were currently in. Their mission was recon only. If they encountered a special grade curse, it was run or die. Haku's eyes met Ichiji's, and he focused on her intently. "Seriously, Haku-san. Don't get yourself killed. Gojo might kill me. A special grade would also be intelligent enough to possible try and use you as the Wellspring, and that would be really bad. Like really really bad."

Haku nodded, knowing her position was a dangerous one. She did wonder why Gojo would 'kill him for it' though? Well, he did care for all his students, and if she got used, they would all be dead. She bit her lip. No. I love these guys, we are not dying today. For some reason she had a sinking feeling when thinking that.

 Haku watched as Ichiji tried to keep Yuji away from a crying mother whose son was one of the victims inside. Yuji walked over to everyone clenching his fist. "Fushiguro, Kugisaki, Haku-san, let's save him." Everyone nodded and they headed towards the building.

Haku's stomach churned, the cursed energy within leaving her feeling sick. She grimaced and Megumi tapped her on the shoulder. "What is it Haku-san? You ok?"

Haku nodded, shaking her head to refocus herself. "Yeah, it's just, the cursed energy coming from in there. There's a ton of low grade curses, but there's one......It's pretty insane."

The group headed into the building and were quickly overwhelmed. The whole interior had changed and, much to everyone's panic, the door they had just entered had vanished. Haku stared blankly at the area they had entered while Yuji and Nobara ran around in a panic. Megumi wrapped his arms around his white demon dog a moment then stepped back. "Don't worry. He can smell the way out." He gave a thumbs up.

Yuji and Nobara were delighted and jumped all over the white demon dog showering it with praise. Haku grabbed the dog's cheeks. "Such a good boy!"

"Guys, stay sharp!" Megumi scolded. Haku let go of the dog and refocused. Megumi was right. She was honestly a little ashamed the younger sorcerer was taking charge.

Yuji laughed. "Yeah right! You're so reliable Fushiguro! You've saved people including me!"

Haku could not help but notice the slightly hurt expression pass Megumi's face. Megumi, like her, had lived a life of a sorcerer. She could not blame Yuji for his naivety. He had only just entered into this world. There was no time to dwell on it. 

They headed deeper into the building finally coming upon what looked to have once been three people. Two corpses were stripped of skin and smushed into human basketballs while the other left only a mutilated upper half. Haku covered her mouth and gasped. Yuji looked the most shocked of any of them and slowly walked to the less mutilated body. "We have to take it back with us." He announced. "The name tag... he's that lady's kid. His face is ok. How else can she get peace if we don't bring her a body to mourn."

Megumi grabbed Yuji by his collar and pulled him away from the corpse. The two started to argue, but Haku was distracted. She moved closer to white demon dog. An overwhelming cursed energy engulfed her and the dog, sending them flying across the room. She hit the wall hard leaving a dent before she hit the ground. White demon dog's head was then thrust across the room and slammed into the wall where it stayed on bloody display. Haku tried to call out to Yuji, megumi, and Nobara, but the breath had been knocked out of her. The curse lifted her up by her collar and studied her a moment before laughing. It then dropped her back to the ground. 

Nobara rushed toward Yuji and Megumi trying to break up their fight only to disappear into a black hole that opened in the floor. That's when Megumi and Yuji finally noticed. Megumi screamed. "Itadori, grab Haku and run! We will find Kugisaki once we get away!" Before he even finished his sentence the special grade curse appeared between Megumi and Yuji. Yuji went to attack the curse only for his hand to be severed and fly away. Yuji quickly took the belt from Slaughter Demon's scabbard and used it to tourniquet the wound.
