Yuki gave a cocky smile and put her hand on her hip. "Do you remember our talk about how to create a world without curses? No matter what you choose, it involves humanity jumping to the next stage. The next stage lies in breaking away from cursed energy."

Breaking away from it? Like Toji? Haku looked at the ground. She had always been this unending mass of cursed energy that only managed to attract more curses and misfortune for all involved. Her whole clan had been dedicated to hiding her away then to sealing her and now they were gone. Killed by Geto, the real Geto, all those years ago. Even back then, her clan was less than half the clan it had been in the Heien era. Wait? What had happened between then and there to cause such a decline in her clan? They had been right there with the Big Three and particularly close to the shogunate at the time. She shook her head. No time for that.

Geto narrowed his eyes. "No, the next step lies in optimizing cursed energy. Look at the potential. Namikaze Haku is the Wellspring. What chaos could one create with that much energy? What could one achieve?" He held out his hands. "Besides I thought you gave up on that 12 years ago when Zenin Toji died."

Yuki looked over to Haku and shrugged. Haku tightened her jaw. "It would be nice to be free of cursed energy."

Yuki smiled and returned her focus to Geto. "Your method has a big hole. Very few sorcerers and curses appear overseas. Tengen's barrier is needed to optimize cursed energy and only those of this country can become sorcerers through Tengen and optimize cursed energy. So Japan has a virtual monopoly on cursed energy. Haku here is from Japan too. I doubt a certain Superpower or middle Eastern country would sit by and allow that. Flesh and blood humans are the source, even the Wellspring has always appeared as a human. The suffering resulting from it would be immense. That is a world far removed from the one I pursue."

Geto only laughed at her. "Ha! So what? I don't pursue a world without cursed spirits or a peaceful one. Sorcerer, non sorcerer, cursed spirit, all just possibilities of energy in the form of humans. There must be more to human potential. I tried to bring that forth myself." He glanced over at Choso. "I failed. What I create can not surpass my own potential. The answer flickers in the darkness of chaos. So what I must create is chaos I cannot control." He focused a mass of cursed energy and slammed his hand on the ground. "Idle Transfiguration."

Haku let out a gasp. "That's Mahito's technique! He absorbed him earlier and now he's using it!"

Yuki looked panicked. "Remote activation of a cursed technique?" She looked up at the darkening sky.

Geto stood back up. "I do have to thank you, Itadori Yuji. Mahito grew in that fight with you. I wanted to have Jogo grow as well, but alas."

Yuki clenched her fists. "What did you do?" She demanded.

"Remote activation of Idle Transfiguration on two types of non sorcerers I had already marked." Geto explained. "Those who I had ingest cursed objects like Itadori yuji, and those who did not have the brains of sorcerers but had cursed techniques like Yoshino Junpei." He pulled out a knotted talisman and snapped it. "And that has released the seal on the cursed object. Some have been asleep since contacting my cursed energy. They will awaken soon. I will have them fight to deepen their understanding of cursed energy. Think of it like 1000 malevolent Itadori Yuji's."

Yuki scoffed. "Only 1000. You underestimate human irrationality. Do you really think they will all choose to fight to the death simply because they gained power?"

Geto just scoffed. "Everything has an order. I would not make such an oversight. Your questions lack perspicacity."

Yuki snarled and looked at Haku. "I'm tired of him. Let's beat him up!"

Haku smiled. "I'd love to! But everyone else is frozen."

Suddenly Uraume dropped to the ground and the ice melted. Yay! But why? "Poison." Uraume surmised.

Choso slowly got to his feet. "My blood contains poison and was mixed in piercing blood."

Haku was pleased. Good move Choso. Everyone was getting back to their feet and Yuki was explaining how her friend was keeping Todo, Mai, and the others not present safe. This seemed to irritate Geto. "I wasn't done talking. The cursed object I provided are what's left of sorcerers of the past who I made vows with millennia ago. Those vows became void when I took this body." Yuki gasped and Geto just smirked. "I really wish I had you Haku. I could have expanded the zone a whole lot more that way and engulfed all of Japan. But capturing you has proven difficult and this body has already experienced your resistance."

Haku growled at him. "You got that right! I would have absorbed all of it and stopped you, even if it killed me!" It was unlikely he would have made such a folly. He likely had some kind of plan to avoid that and possibly even one to have forced her compliance. Sukuna had.

An amused chuckle escaped Geto. His cursed energy built up and he released a mass of curses. He started to disappear into the mass of curses. Before he vanished he held out his hand with the prison realm in it. "Goodbye then Haku. Oh Sukuna, the world of Heian, the Golden Age of Curses is beginning again."

Haku sent her petals flying at Geto. "Give Satoru back!" Yuji was also making a dash for Geto trying to get the Prison realm. It was no use. Hakus petals never reached Geto, being blocked by the mass of curses. Many curses were sliced to pieces by the petals, but there were far too many of them. Everyone was engulfed in the curses, most of which simply rushed out into the world paying the sorcerers no mind. Kenjaku had indeed succeeded in unleashing chaos and replicating the Heian era. A harsh and curse run era Haku remembered even if she did not remember the details of her own life back then.
