The four first years piled into the car with Auxiliary Manager Nitta Akari. Everyone said their hello's to one another. Yuji then looked at Haku playfully. "So, you get your legs?" She heard Megumi and Nobara trying to stifle laughter.

Haku pinched the bridge of her nose. "Yuji! I got enough from Satoru-san over that!" Yuji opened his mouth to say something else and Haku glared at him. "Say it and I'll punch you so hard Sukuna will feel it!" The pink haired boy clamped his mouth shut and Megumi and Nobara let loose laughing. Haku let out a long sigh.

Nitta was confused but Haku was not about to relive that day. Nitta decided to start introducing the mission. She handed a tablet to Megumi, who flipped through the information as Nitta explained. Everyone crowded Megumi to look at the tablet. Nitta explained while driving. Three people had died after being stabbed to death in front of their apartments. All had complained about failing apartment auto locks prior to their deaths. They were all confused how this was related. Why would a cursed spirit control door locks? Can they even control door locks? Nitta continued explaining they all went to the same school two years prior. It was concluded that they must have all been cursed at some point during that time, and only now was the curse activated. They were headed to talk with one of the victims' classmates who had recently started complaining of failing auto locks.

Arriving at the classmates home had them arriving at a funeral. They had been too late. The classmate had died in the same manner as the others. With little other option, they headed to the middle school the victims had all attended, Saitama Urami Junior High. Nobara instantly zeroed in on a group of delinquent looking students sitting on the stairs and declared they should all beat them up and teach them some discipline.

Haku looked beside her to see Megumi looking quite uncomfortable, avoiding looking at anyone. She soon found out why. The boys jumped up and sincerely bowed. "Hello, sorry for not greeting you properly!" Yuji and Nobara stood pridefully, thinking their very appearance must have intimidated the bullies. Megumi grew even more uncomfortable beside her, practically wanting to run. Haku moved closer to Megumi, bending down and looking up at his face. The boys continued. "We haven't seen you since graduation Fushiguro-san!"

Yuji and Nobara whipped their heads around to look at the thoroughly embarrassed Megumi. "Yeah...my...junior high.....here." The two tried to make Megumi look at them. He refused.

"We should ask them!" Yuji suggested, not satisfied with Megumi's broken answer.

Nobara pointed at the two. "Idiot A, Idiot B, what is this guy to you?"

The boys looked nervously, and the one dubbed Idiot A spoke. "Well to us, nah half the punks here, Fushiguro-san has beaten us all to a pulp."

Yuji and Nobara were back to harassing Megumi. Haku tugged on Megumi's sleeve and he actually looked at her. "Megumi, you only beat them up for being jerks right? If so, it's like training a bad dog. Like training your Shikigami!" She did not know Megumi until recently, but the boy just did not seem like the type who would fight without reason.

Megumi slapped his own face. "Do you really think I'd just beat people up for no reason?"

Haku smiled, putting her hands behind her back. "No, because Megumi is far too kind." The boy flushed a little. Kind? He thought Haku fit that description far more. Out of nowhere an older man came rushing up, thinking they were uninvited guests causing trouble on campus. Nitta quickly calmed the situation, showing him their permit. How that worked Haku had no clue, anyone could see they were just a bunch of school kids and a random lady in a business suit. Jujutsu society was weird. Or people were dumb. No it was both.

It turned out the old man knew Megumi, having worked at the school during the time Megumi attended. Nitta left it to Megumi to talk to the man, concluding a familiar face would glean more information. Takeda was his name, and he referred to Megumi as a troublemaker. Yuji and Nobara tried to tease him, but Megumi just whacked them upside the head. After a quick conversation with Takeda and some input from Idiots A and B, they gathered people had gone to Yasohachi bridge to bungee jump and do a test of courage. This was a previous generation's test, and the last one resulted in 4 going missing for the night. They were then found unconscious under the bridge with no memory of that night.
