Haku's mind wandered to the time she spent with Geto and his 'Family' 2 years ago. She was mad at Geto and could not get behind his ideals, but his group was 'family' and that included her. She spent a lot of time with them, particularly when Geto would meet business clients and Haku would beg to not have to sit in boredom with him while he did.

Manami had kept her promise to show her how to use the camera. She sat with Haku on the sofa. "So Haku-chan, you just point and shoot." She took a picture of Haku as an example, and turned the camera screen towards her. "Then you can see what you took on this screen." Haku was looking at a picture of herself sitting on the sofa, her hammerhead shark plushie Go-kun sitting in her lap.

Her eyes sparkled, amazed. "Wow, I know it has been 1000 years, but still. It's amazing. No artist in my time could come close to this." She had seen some pretty amazing portraits before, but this was like taking a moment in time and storing it.

Manami smiled and laughed. She found Haku like a cute little squirrel. She handed her the camera. "Run around and give it a try. Not often we are all together, some pictures would be nice." This plan of Geto's was the first time in a while the 'family' had come together.

"Seriously?" Haku took the camera after Manami nodded. She pointed it at Manami, snapping a photo, looking at the screen with a satisfied grin. "I think you're even prettier in these photograph things."

Manami blushed, waving her hand and laughing. Miguel looked over from where he was sitting leaned back in a chair. "Don't go giving her a big head now." He joked. Manami gave him a dirty look.

Haku hopped up off the sofa and ran over to Miguel, positioning the camera in front of him. "Come on! Smile Miguel!" Miguel held up two fingers in a peace sign. She snapped the picture. "Nice!" She held the camera up high.

Miguel stood up and grabbed the camera from her. He bent down to be level with her height. "How about one together. No fun if all the photos are just the rest of us. Besides, pretty cool to take a picture with a 1000 year old cursed girl. " He snapped the photo then returned the camera to Haku.

She looked at the screen to see herself with a small smile standing next to Miguel. "Thanks Miguel!" She ran around to the others snapping pictures of everyone. Larue was even nice enough to pose, having Haku laughing at his flamboyance. She was particularly proud of the photo she took of Nanako and Mimiko sitting back to back on the sofa. Geto then returned. "Hey Suguru-san!" Haku ran right up to him, snapping a picture before he had a chance to react. "Now I've taken one of everyone." She announced triumphantly.

Manami walked over and took the camera back from her. "I'll get them developed later, then you can have some copies, alright Haku?" Haku nodded excitedly.

She felt Geto place a hand on her head. "Perhaps you can pick photography up as a hobby." Geto then scooped Haku up, holding her sitting on one arm. "How about a photo of us both?"

Haku smiled and nodded. "Sure." They both looked in Manami's direction and she snapped the photo. A buddhist monk holding a priestess. Quite the interesting photo.

She returned her thoughts back to the present. Yuji slammed his fist into the sorcerer barring veil, it wavered slightly, but did not break. Ino looked quite shocked at Yuji's raw strength while Megumi and Haku were used to it.

Megumi clicked his tongue. "Haku." He turned to the white haired girl. "Think you can break it?"

She placed her hand on the veil. "I've never really had success breaking a barrier before. That's why I worked on passing through them. The whole idea was to avoid detection, breaking it or ripping a temporary hole would defeat that purpose." She started focusing on the veil. "What I can do is locate the source."
