Beth and Viv have been teammates at Arsenal for a few years, the pair hadn't really interacted much nor took much interest in each other's personal lives outside of football or made any attempts to hang out.

Beth looks up from her conversation with Ben as Josh jogs into the kitchen with her pops in tow after they went on a walk with Rona and leans over Liv to scoop him up. ''Mummy!'' He giggles loudly as she showers his face with soft pecks, not noticing her pops hand Viv some things.
Viv chuckles as Josh's giggles echo around them and reaches over to ruffle his hair. ''I think it's time for gifts sweetheart, do you want to go and grab the ones you hid with Ben?'' She chuckles as he squeaks loudly the second Ben scoops him up to grab the gifts and turns to Beth as Liv and Rich follow Ben after grabbing drinks for all of them.
She slides an envelope over the table, grinning as Beth furrows her brows and shrugs. ''This may not be your first Mother's Day in my eyes, but your first official since he started calling you mummy.'' She murmurs. ''So.'' She drawls out tapping the envelope. ''Happy Mother's day lieverd.''
''Now I feel bad I didn't get you something,'' Beth grumbles, Viv nudges her with her foot and laughs.
''Pretty sure Josh is grabbing something he picked out with you too, I don't expect you to give me something besides that Beth.'' She taps the envelope again and cracks a grin. ''Besides, this is partly my enjoyment too.''
''And I can open it with little ears around?''
''Yes, it's nothing like that.'' Viv laughs. ''I will never do that knowing your brother or dad could walk in.'' She watches Beth open it after she scans her face to make sure she is serious and smiles as she hears her soft surprised gasp.
''Are you kidding me?''
''Nope.'' She murmurs chuckling. ''Already checked our schedule and it's the last day before training picks back up, JoJo will stay with one of the girls so we can have a drink and don't need to focus on heading back on time either.''
''But why four?'' Beth asks curiously as she eyes the concert tickets.

''Because I know Steph and Jen both adore Dermot, so I thought we could just invite them to come with us and spend some much-needed time just the four of us too.''
Beth stands up in a flash to hug her tightly and chuckles as she grunts. ''I love it, thank you so much, Vivi.'' She whispers as she kisses her temple with a big grin.
''Mummy, mama!''
Viv pulls back after pecking Beth's lips and chuckles. ''Someone is impatient.'' She stands up after kissing Beth's forehead and holds out her hand. ''Come one.'' She murmurs.
''Mummyyyyy.''
''Coooooming.'' Beth sings laughing as Josh sings her name, she walks into the living room as Viv just shakes her head with a soft laugh and scoops Josh up as he runs over. ''Since when are we so impatient?'' She muses as she kisses his head.
''Can I give Mama the gift now?'' Josh asks cutely, giggling as she tickles him.
Beth nods her head, hip-bumping Viv, and laughs as she drops down on the couch with a soft yelp. ''Yep, she sat down.'' She tells him in amusement as she places him down. ''Go ahead sweetheart.'' She murmurs ignoring Viv's soft scoff and her family's soft laughter.
