4 months later
Four months have passed since the night of dancing, laughter, and wedding cake. Since Viv and Beth stood wrapped in love, holding Josh close, life hasn't slowed down, but it has softened in the best way.
Their honeymoon was quiet and slow, tucked away in a seaside cottage. Long walks on the beach, coffee warming their hands, Myle padding along beside them, and Josh's giggles filling the air. Breakfasts stretched late into the morning, evenings were simple and calm, and for the first time in a long while, home felt like something they were building together.
Football never really paused. Training, matches, and interviews filled their weeks. Viv played with her familiar calm strength, while Beth became a regular face in the media, speaking about team unity, women's football, and playing with heart. Teammates respected them, fans adored them, and the deeper parts of their life stayed just theirs.
At the club, things shifted quietly. Jonas stepped back, and Renee stepped in. Her steady, encouraging presence lifted the team without fuss, and for Viv and Beth, it felt like the right change at the right time.
Somewhere between match days and late nights, something else began to grow. One evening at home, after laughter and shared silence, they talked about giving Josh a sibling. It wasn't rushed or dramatic. Just a soft, hopeful decision made in private.
Beth would carry. It felt right. With Renee's quiet support, their journey stayed protected and personal.
Josh, meanwhile, thrived. Mini Gooners became his whole world. Saturday mornings meant sunshine, cheers, and a first tournament win. He wore his medal everywhere, even to breakfast. At home, there were movie nights, takeaway dinners, and quiet evenings with Josh tucked safely between them and Myle snoring at their feet.
Present time
Beth sighs as she follows Josh into the house carrying the pizza they grabbed on their way home into the kitchen as Josh immediately runs off to greet Myle and tiredly rubs her forehead hating the partly empty feeling of the house with Viv gone for International camp.
"Joshi?" She calls out as she grabs their drinks.
"Yes mummy?" She hears him yell back.
"Go freshen up please, mama's match is starting soon."
"Okay!"
She smiles as she hears him jog to the bathroom downstairs, crouching down as Myle comes sprinting in and gently pats her back. "Hi my girl." She greets as Myle happily licks her hand. "You want to go out while I prepare your dinner?" She stands up with a chuckle as Myle barks and opens the backdoor for her, she grabs her empty bowl as Myle sprints outside and grabs her biscuits and a pouch deciding to spoil her too not noticing Josh standing at the entrance of the kitchen carefully watching her and frowning as he notices her yawn every so often.
"You tired mummy?" Josh asks as he walks further into the kitchen, he kisses her hand as he walks past her hearing her soft hum and grabs the pizzas to bring them into the sitting room.
"A little bit darling." Beth replies thanking him as he walks back in to take Myle's bowl from her so Beth only has to carry their drinks. "Myle dinner!" She chuckles as she sprints into the house and closes the door. "Go join Joshi." She tells her as she grabs her phone.
Josh watches his mummy walk into the sitting room tilting his head as he watches her yawn again and frowns. "You didn't have your coffee this morning." He states rather than asks.
Beth freezes mid opening their pizzas and turns to look at him, she notices him glancing into their open kitchen at the untouched coffee machine since Viv left two days ago and shakes her head. "Not today no."
