Chapter 11

Skylar was pacing in her office. She needed to figure out Morgan's plan. She had already texted Logan to ready for the release of information on her word. She tried to distract herself with work but her mind kept on thinking back to Lena and Sam, wondering if Morgan's plan would harm them in any way.

Skylar decided that she needed to relax and what better way than to continue her project that was at home. Texting her driver, she made her way to the lobby and just so happened to bump into Alex and Maggie.

"Alex. Maggie. Its nice to see you again." Skylar greeted politely. She could feel Alex's guard was up and was careful towards her.

"Skylar. Its nice to see you too. You're going home?" Maggie asked. She knew the tension between her girlfriend and Skylar so she opted for a conversation as a subtle distraction.

"Yeah. Work has been stressful. But I should probably go. My drivers here. It was nice meeting you two." Skylar thanked the lord that the conversation was over. She quickly got in and exhaled in relief. She knew that if she wasn't careful, the DEO and detective couple would probably start interrogating her.

She then felt the vibration of her phone and rolled her eyes at the name of the called. She sighed deeply and just wanted to get things over with.

"Lex. It's a surprise you called." Skylar said dryly. She hated doing this but she knows that she's the only one who could do this without getting suspicious.

"Skylar. I see you have felt rather comfortable. I hope you don't get too sidetracked with your mission." Lex sneered. Skylar wanted to scoff.

"Yes. Little Luthor is doing fine. I hope you know that a deal is a deal. If I deem fit to not comply, you will let me walk away." She could hear the man on the other line let out a frustrated sigh.

"Yes. Yes. Just make sure my dear sister doesn't meddle with my plans."

"You have my word." Every fibre in her body told her that its not too late to back out. To work with the good guys. But she knows that sometimes they need some much needed information to take down the bad ones; and she is going to do just that.

Ending the call, Skylar had a huge smirk on her face. It was very hard to earn Lex's trust and being able to bypass everything. But Skylar preservered. She had made it her top priority to not let her plans be foiled by his stupid spies. But alas, Lex had trusted her enough to befriend his sister and sidetrack her abit. This gave Skylar the golden opportunity as she could be the secret intel for Supergirl. Now, she has to ensure that, along with her plans, Lex doesn't find out that Kara is Supergirl.

Stepping out, Skylar made her way inside her apartment and sifted through her cabinet of files. I should really move all this into a secure location. I should look into buying a bunker. She thought aimlessly. Skylar took out the files containing Lena and Kara's background and personal details.

She thought to herself for awhile, wondering her next course of action. Of course she isn't going to do what Lex told her. Over the years of making Lena's file, Skylar had felt a sense of pity for the girl and seeing her through all the hardships her family put her through, Skylar decided then and there that she would protect Lena and everyone she cared about with her life.

Her gaze then moved to Kara's file. It wasn't easy attaining her details considering the fact that the Kryptonian had powers to detect her surroundings but Skylar pulled through. Hmm, I should make something for the both of them. Skylar thought. Considering how things with Morgan are, she decided to be safe than sorry. But before Skylar could start, a knock was heard. She quickly hid everything and made sure that everything is normal before heading out to open the door. To her surprise, she found Sam, Kara and Lena looking at her with panic in their eyes.
