"Ah, you must be the esteemed Charlus. How do you do?" He half bowed tauntingly.

"You killed him." Mum gasped.

"Where is Carlisle?" I stuffed the book in my messenger bag.

"Now is that how you should address your elderly?" He pouted and I sighed. This man was annoying more than his existence. I didn't know whether it would be possible or I was just trying my luck but I disapperated, only to land in front of Klaus, an arm's length away, holding his neck as I came steady.

Klaus glared at me, panting.

"How-"

"I asked, where is Carlisle?" My arm was on fire. More specifically the arm with the tattoo. It felt like my body was being held by the arm the same as Klaus in the moment. My head was pounding but I knew if I let go now, Klaus would kill everyone.

"And I said, have some respect." He held my collar but I couldn't feel a single muscle in my body flinch.

"Let him go or I'll blow her pretty brains out." Someone sneered and I turned my head to see, Charlus on his knees, holding his head, and Belvina with a wand to her head. Teddy had frozen due to the sight and Dad and Mum were crowded by two men as well.

"You heard him." Klaus called.

"Yeah." I squeezed harder, "I did."

See the border. A single voice cooed in my ear.

The horizon. A whisper...

From your feet to the edge. Mum's voice. This was her guidance during her teaching of the spell. As the voice bounced on every nerve in my brain, I felt heat tingle through the edge of my toes to the base of my heels. I was floating.

And... set ablaze.

Mum's words rang like a siren song in my head as sparks of fire started by the edge of the men's feet.

"Fuck." This was Teddy. He charged at the snatcher next to him and ran from Belvina and Charlus. The fire started rising like a typhoon, entrapping everything in its grip. It grew by the second and heat overwhelmed us. But I felt power.

I felt in control.

I felt... rage.

Teddy

"What is he doing?!" Aunt Ginny yelled as I dragged Belvina and Charlus close to them. James was seeing red and nothing more. Someone had died before his eyes and this was enough to set him off.

"Stay close!" I called out. I built a shield around us when another came above it. Uncle Harry was hissing at the heat of the fire but making sure to cover us.

"He'll burn himself alive!" He yelled.

"How... How is he doing that?" Aunt Ginny cried.

"He's..." I didn't have an answer and Aunt Ginny was struggling to catch her feet.

"He'll die!" She pointed. My own body was growing heavy at the sight of James just standing between the flames. His clothes and hair blew in the heated wave and him in the midst of it as if he was letting it take him alive.

"No!" Aunt Ginny ran before Uncle Harry or I could catch her and took James' waist in her arms.

"Let Go! James, Let Go!" She screamed.
