~Later that day...

~Aqua's POV~

All of us were gathered around in the lobby for bonding time. Which was one of my most favorite times of the day. I looked over at Husk who was sitting on the couch across from me. I gave him a subtle wave from my hand, thinking if he would wave back. And he actually did wave back to me slowly. It made my tail wag and caused me to giggle a little bit.

Our little mini event from earlier might've changed the aura between us. It was starting to work out, his mood changed just a bit. But hey, at least it was a start to begin with. We just need to bond a little bit more so we can eventually like each other. But for me, it's to love him.

We were all gathered around the lobby room in a circle. I sat next to Husk and Angel.

"Now then my dear friends. Whatever shall we do today for bonding time?" Alastor asked.

"Well I do have a few ideas. But I think the big boss should decide." I looked at Charlie.

"Thanks Aqua." Charlie smiled. "Now then, I've got an idea. Since we've been all cooped up in the hotel all day, we can all go out to eat. My treat.

"Sweet, that will be nice." Angel nodded.

"Hmm... sure. Yeah, why not?" Husk also agreed.

"At least I don't have to cook tonight. That would be nice." Rachel smiled.

"Then it's agreed. It'll be a splendid way for everyone to enjoy themselves and let their friendships blossom!" Alastor rang in.

"I agree Alastor." I nodded as I was drinking my saltwater. But then I started to get a little itchy.

"Alright, I also agree with Alastor. This will be so nice. Okay everybody get ready!" Charlie said as she and Vaggie went to their room.

"Hell yeah!" Angel ran to his room too.

"I think I'm all set like this." Husk said.

"Are you sure Husk?" I looked at him.

"Yeah. You go get ready."

"Okay." I said as I got up. I was actually excited since now I can finally bond with Husker. "Ooh, itchy." I said to myself as I went to my room to get ready.

~Husker's POV~

As I saw Aqua walking past me, I saw something drop on the floor. "Hmm?" I said to myself and went over to see what it was. I picked it up with my claws and looked at it. "What is this?"

It was something really shiny. "Whoa..." I was amazed to see that it was a blue colored iridescent scale. "It's really cool." I cleaned it up a bit to see that it was really shiny.

It made me had an idea and I went to the bar to get a few things. I used the hole puncher to make a hole at the top of the scale, and then I looped a chain around it so I can make it into a lucky charm. It also gave me another idea as I went into my box of priceless items to make it look even cooler. After a few minutes, I looked at my new pendent and put it around my neck. It was shining through the light and I smiled to myself.

"Okay, I'm ready!" a voice said.

"Oh my god Aqua, you look so cute~!" Charlie said.

I looked over to see that Aqua was dressed up, and boy did I blush the hell out of my cheeks. She was wearing a light blue loose blouse with a pair of slightly ripped jeans, and light blue spaghetti strapped heels on. She was absolutely beautiful in my sights. I gulped the feeling down my throat as I saw her coming down the stairs towards me. I cleared my throat and acted naturally.

"Hey." Aqua greeted me.

"Hey." I tried my best to smile.

~Aqua's POV~

When I looked at what was around Husker's neck, I was surprised. He was wearing one of my scales! "Nice pendent." I said to him.

"Thanks."

"I like the little decorations on it."

"In my own flair."

I wagged my tail. 'He's really wearing my scale! And it looks really snazzy on him~' I thought to myself.

Once everybody else was ready, we headed out of the hotel. While we walking through the streets of Hell, everybody was chatting up their own conversation storms.

"This is exciting. Eating and drinking together." Alastor said.

"I can drink. I know I'm not a lightweight." Rachel giggled.

"That gives me an idea." I smirked.

"What's your idea?"

"You and Husk can have a drinking challenge. Whoever gets wasted first loses."

"Oh fuck yeah. That sounds like a challenge to me." Husker said.

"You're on." Rachel smirked.

"Bring it bitch." Husk growled.

I was itching my fur again and heard footsteps approaching from behind me. It was Charlie and Vaggie right beside me.

"Oi mija, are you okay?" Vaggie asked me. "Your scales are coming off."

I looked back to see I was leaving a trail of them behind. "Don't worry guys. I'll be esta bien. I'll drink some saltwater at the restaurant."

"Are you sure Aqua? You're looking a bit dry there. I think I have some water in my purse." Charlie said.

"Yeah. Maybe." I said.

Charlie looked into her purse and took out a small bottle of water. "Here."

I took it. "Thanks big boss." I said as I opened it and drank the whole thing.

"Mija, take it easy. We're worried about you." Vaggie said.

"You both worry too much. And if it's serious, I'll say the codeword peaches. Okay?"

"Okay."

"You'd better." Charlie said.

"Okay okay. Calm down you two." I said as I laughed nervously.

~Later on...

After we made it to the restaurant, we made it to our table. "My god, this place is so big."

"Ahem." Husk cleared his throat.

"Hmm?" I looked at him.

"After you." he said as he offered me a seat.

"Oh. Thank you." I smiled lightly and sat down on the chair. "I appreciate it Husky. Oh I mean umm H-Husk. Sorry." I blushed in embarrassment.

"I-It's okay." Husk said as he sat next to me. "Here's a menu." he said as he passed it up to me.

"Oh, thank you." I said as I took the menu and opened it. I was trying to read it, but it was hard. "So hard to read." I said as I reached into my chest fur and took out my reading glasses from there.

"How did you do that mija?" Vaggie asked me.

"It's a long story short, I put everything in there."

"I know how to put stuff in here too." Rachel said as she reached into her chest fur and took out a metal baseball bat. "See?"

"Golly! You both have endless voids at your holy grail areas." Alastor said.

"Okay now that's impressive. I wanna try that." Angel said.

We all ended up laughing and having a good time before our waiter came up to us. Then we ordered our food so we can eat.
