it was quiet on the streets of musutafu.

with her hood pull up and a mask covering the majority of her face, beni wandered through the back alleys, trying to find a clean canvas.

the night gave her a way to snoop around without being seen - pro heroes don't usually patrol around this area of town at this time of night.

turning the corner, she found a clean wall of bricks to unleash her distaste on.

she shook the can of spray paint in her hand and dropped her bag to the floor, the other fifteen cans rattling before she got to work.

it took some time before she was happy with it - her legs were aching and the sun was starting to peak over the horizon - but once she stepped back and looked at her art, she decided it was all worth it.

it was a messily outlined vision of a woman bending the bars open of the bird cage she was tapped in.

most wouldn't recognise her - even beni was at that point where she couldn't draw her face if god asked - but the sentiment was there all the same, forwarded by the labelled piece of cardboard hanging around the woman's neck.

'HERO'

picking up the bag from before and slinging it over her shoulder, she smiled.

just the tag and then i can go home...

suddenly, a thump landed from further down the alleyway.

"what do we have here?"

without thinking, beni threw herself further down the alleyway, barrelling into the brick walls as she tossed herself around the narrow corners, heavy footsteps following her.

the rattling of spray cans in her bag was the loudest sound in the abyss of the labyrinth, the pounding footsteps of both parties and their loud breaths an after thought as beni threw a stray bin over before rounding a corner, effectively blocking the man and giving her enough time.

as soon as she turned, she bit heavily into her hand and activated her quirk, shooting herself up onto the fire escape of the building surrounding her, landing with a bang - high enough the her pursuer wouldn't see her due to the metal flooring and darkness, but low enough she could see him if she squinted.

she took a few minutes to catch her breath as she waited for the man to round the corner.

she watched as he stopped to look around, trying to see the person he was chasing. his face fell into annoyance as he couldn't see her, before sighing heavily and turning back around to the way he came from.

beni smirked from her place on the fire exit.

"not bad, eraserhead,"

said pro hero let out multiple resigned huffs as he walked his way back to the graffiti - scanning the art over once before finding nothing to report.

he was just about to turn away until he noticed a messy tag near the bottom - done in a hurry, obviously.

he crouched down and squinted, saving the sight to memory.
