"KEIGO! WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!"

beni heard scrambling from the next room over and turned around to see a dishevelled hawks leaning on the edge of the doorway.

"if its a package please don't open it - i cant get stuff like that sent to my house or office so sometimes i order it here instead-,"

the rambling stopped as his golden eyes drifted down to what was in the girls hand.

"...oh,"

it was a letter - almost as important looking as the one u.a sent containing her acceptance video, but not as heavy.

beni raised a brow when the hero let out a heavy sigh of relief.

"what do you mean by 'package'?"

at her narrowed eyes, hawks went frozen again and let out an embarrassed laugh, avoiding eye contact.

"nothing, kid-,"

"what do you mean you can't get 'stuff like that' delivered to where you are?"

beni left the letter on the kitchen counter by the door, forgetting about her concerns as they were now directed at hawks as she stalked towards him.

once the two were only a couple feet apart, the hero felt his resolve disintegrate.

"pro-heroes...we don't get a lot of...action...y'know? so i have to...well...improvise?"

the statement left through thinned lips, phrased more like a question due to the higher tone of hawks' voice at the end.

beni tightened her jaw at the words and the hero started to sweat under her gaze.

"l-look, i promise i won't deliver it here anymore, okay? i'm sorry-,"

she couldn't hold it in anymore and let a chuff escape her lips, not being able to stop the smile from overtaking her face.

hawks blanked in front of her, gaping like a fish at her reaction, trying to find the right words.

"i already knew, you dipshit," beni chuckled and turned away, heading over to where she left the letter on the kitchen counter, "i learnt my lessons almost two years ago not to open packages assigned to an 'ikeya hinata',"

the blond felt his eye twitch at the girls words, wordlessly following over to where she rested on the counter, thumbing at the letter in her hands.

"so...," he started, looking akin to a baby bird with his big round eyes as he stopped next to her, fiddling with his sleep shirt, "you're not mad?"

"no," beni huffed, ripping open the back of the letter that was addressed to her, "just surprised at how big it was,"

hawks' jaw dropped and he felt the colour drain from his face at the girls words as she started to skim over the letter written in cursive.

"it was quite impressive, actual-,"

the words died in the girls throat, and the wide eyed look that came over her face made the hero shake himself out of his embarrassment and move closer, worried.

"beni? what is it?" he said frantically, trying to read some of the letter over her shoulder, "do they know? we need to leave - now-"

the girl continued to stare down at the letter, trying to process the words before it landed on the signature of the sender at the bottom.
