Chapter 15

                       "As sweet as sweets"

Akari woke up early to go to the grocery store, she also thought of making cookies and cupcakes for Zyleith as a thank you for taking good care of her when she was sick. She also bought ingredients.

After that she immediately returned to the resort carrying two large paper bags, she had a hard time carrying those two heavy paper bags.

When she entered, a few staff offered to help her but she refused because she knew they were busy handling a lot of guests.

"Woah..a few more steps.." She whispered while heading the stairs.

"Oh jeez! what a bad luck is this!" She exclaimed when a paper bag suddenly slipped out of her hand and almost everything inside the paper bag scattered on the floor.

She put down another paper bag for a while and pick them up one by one from the floor.

"Hey let me help you" an stranger guy suddenly approached to help her.

"T-thank you" She shyly said while picking.

"Let me carry even that one" He kindly said while putting them inside the paper bag.

"Oh? n-no thank you, you're already helping me uhm thank you" She said awkwardly.

"Are you sure?" He asked worriedly.

"Yeah, just a few steps to my room" She said as he helped her to lift the paper bag.

"Thank you" She added with a spare smile.

"You're welcome" He said while grinning.

While Zyleith who's heading in their direction, she saw them. She's talking to someone on the phone.

She immediately frowned when she saw the two.

"Yeah I'll tell her immediately, uhm I need to end this call for now, I have something to do" She said while walking fast.

"Alright, thank you Solenn, talk to you later" He gladly said.

"Right, I'll just call you later. Thank you Jake" She said before hanging-up the call.

She was immediately noticed by two.

"Hey Solenn, busy? you always suddenly disappear in the middle of filming" He said as he chuckled.

"Do they know each other?" Akari said in her mind while looking at them curiously.

"Excuse me, I'll go first I have something to do" Akari said awkwardly as she excused herself. While Richard just nodded as he grinned.

"It's kinda like that Chad, I still have a lot of things to do" Zyleith said expressionless.

"As I expected, what a hard working woman you are" He said while grinning.

"Not really, anyway. what did you two talk about? so you really did a first move huh" She said in disbelief while she's annoyed deep inside.

"Nothing special, I just helped her pick up her purchases that were scattered on the floor" He said as she smirked.

"What a perfect timing huh, anyway. I gotta go upstairs, I have a lot important things to do" She said lazily.

"I'll watch the shooting later when I have free time" She added before stepping on the stairs.

"Alright, see you around, Solenn" he said with a spare smile.

Meanwhile, because she was tired from lifting two heavy paper bags, Akari took a rest first before baking.
