Chapter 12

                                 "An Angel"

Two days have passed since that day. Zyleith is ignoring her and even when they look at each other, she immediately avoid her gaze.

She became even more grumpy and unapproachable, which made Akari sad because she thought they were close already.

It's almost twelve o'clock in the afternoon, Zyleith hurried downstairs to meet her film maker friend.

She caught him with his few assistant busy hauling their things as well as film materials.

"Let me help" as soon as she got downstairs as he stopped lifting his stuff.

"Thanks but you don't have to, I'm such a gentleman to let you lift those heavy things" He said jokingly she chuckled.

"Is that so? alright, how about food? What do you guys want to eat?" as she gestured to a staff and staff immediately approached them.

"Is that for free?" He asked that made her laugh.

"Right, don't worry about the food" She answered as he awe.

"While staying, you don't have to pay for the food, it's free" She added.

"Really? Thank you! my dear friend" He said excitedly.

"Don't mention it. Here's the menu" She said as the staff handed him the menu.

"Just just order anything you and your people want and if you need anything else, just tell the staff" She added that made him smile ear to ear.

"Thank you Solenn. You never changed, that's why I like you a lot" He gladly said as she scratched her nape.

"And you still flattery and corny as ever, Richard" She said as he laughed.

"am I? pft! as if you've never been fluttered even once" He said jokingly with a smirk.

"Jeez. tone down the rizz Richard, gross" She said in disbelief as he acted hurt.

"You're still so mean tsk! no wonder you don't have a boyfriend until now" He said teasingly.

"I don't need one, it'll just give me a headache" She said confidently as he burst out of laughter.

"What so funny? and haven't you choose yet?" She said in disbelief.

"Whatever. just take your time, I'll do something upstairs for a moment" She added boringly.

"Aren't you going to eat with me?" He gladly asked.

"I'm not hungry. Let's just talk about the film later, you guys need some rest first" She firmly said.

"Is that so? alright, thank you again Solenn" He said with a bright smile as Solenn just nodded before going upstairs.

Meanwhile, Akari couldn't stand the hot weather anymore so she decided to go swimming.

She was busy paddling when three little girl approached her.

"Sister, you're so pretty" Little girl said in admiration that fluttered her heart.

"Indeed, are you a foreigner Big Sis?" the other girl who's holding a ball said.

"Can we play with you a catching ball, Sister pretty?" Little girl who's smaller than the two asked.

"You kiddos are adorable, just call me Sis Megumi or Neesan which means Older sister" Akari said in giggles made the three girls awe.

onee-san (plural onee-sans) (Japanese, often as a form of address) An older sister.

"I am a Japanese, and yes! we can play" She added excitedly.

"Yeheyy~" Three joyful little girls jump in excitement.

Akari was busy playing with the kids, unaware that people around her were looking at her.

Some of them said that she is not only beautiful but also has a soft spot even for kids.

"Wait a minute kids, aren't you tired yet?" Akari stopped while gasping.

"Kinda tired, shall we play again after resting big Sis?" Little girl softly said.

"Yeah, let's just rest for a moment while having some snack? is that okay?" She gladly said as the kids jumps in excitement.

"Alright! then let's have some ice cream" She said as they raised their hands immediately.

They immediately went to the ice scream stall.

While the four men having fun chatting while eating their lunch.

"Your friend's resort is really nice, Chad" He said amusingly.

"Just like the owner even tho she looks grumpy and scary, I wonder how you two became friends haha" The other guy said jokingly as he chuckled.

"I've thought that too, they really have the opposite attitude" another guy said as they laughed

"Guys, stop talking about Solenn that way, she's just like that but she's kind and she's my friend, these monkeys!" Richard said annoyingly.

"Pardon us. how about let's just talk about the beautiful woman here, just like that one" He said as he pointed the woman outside.

"Where? which one?" the other guy asked as he quickly look around.

"That woman in front of the ice scream stall? wow, you're right dude! freaking gorgeous" another guy said with too admiration.

"Look at these three monkeys, so speed when it comes to a woman" Richard said in disbelief while just minding his food.

"Dude, who wouldn't like such a beautiful woman? just like that one" Said the guy who couldn't take his eyes off that woman either.

"Right! just take a look Chad, she's really beautiful tho" He said in giggles.

"Not interested, I'm not like you guys" Richard said boringly while busy eating.

"She's with the three little girl, is she their mother?" He mumbled curiosly.

"That can't be, she looks young to be their mother you dumbass" the other guy said while they keep staring at the woman.

"What are you arguing about? you guys are so--" Richard said irritatedly.

He stunned for a moment when he saw the woman who's now leaving the ice cream stall with the three kids.

"loud..what did I just I saw? an angel?" He uttered as if he's not in his right mind.

The three guys looked at each other and then they looked him and suddenly burst out of laughter.

"What did you just said? you're not interested? then what's with right you now?" He said teasingly while holding back his laughter.

"What so funny?! you monkeys are so loud! haven't you monkeys finished eating yet? 'cause I'm done and I gotta go to my room" Richard said annoyingly. Trying to hide his embarrassment.

"Hey wait! we're just teasing you, Chady hahaha" He called Richard who's now leaving them in a hurry.

The three were left at the table, keeps chatting and making fun of him.
