Zyleith's POV

                         "Cross paths again"

A couple of days have passed since I last saw Megumi. It's not surprising-guests come and go-but for some reason, a part of me still hopes to see her again. It's confusing.

Anyway, I'm now heading to my mini parking lot inside the resort. I'm meeting with an interior designer in town; we agreed on a coffee shop since he's tied up with meetings today-he seems as busy as I am. I'm riding my favorite motorbike because it isn't far, and I miss riding. (I might even be mistaken for a cab driver again-just kidding.)

Damn, the weather is hot! Good thing I'm wearing a denim jacket, or else I'd get sunburned.

After more than twenty minutes of riding, I arrive at the coffee shop he chose. While waiting, I nearly finish the iced coffee I ordered. I'm growing impatient-and I really need to use the restroom. After quickly using the comfort room and washing my hands, I head back to my table.

Scrolling on my phone as I walk back, suddenly someone bumps into me.

"OH, DAMN! AREN'T YOU LOOKING?!" I shout in surprise as I glance down at my now-wet clothes. Someone has bumped into me and spilled iced coffee all over me. Damn it!

"O-OH MY GOODNESS! I'M REALLY SORRY! I WASN'T LOOKING-I NEED TO GO TO THE RESTROOM, THAT'S WHY I WAS IN A HURRY!" the person stammers nervously while trying to wipe the coffee off my clothes.

"THAT'S ENOUGH! AND DON'T TOUCH ME! YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT! I WON'T DRY OFF THAT WAY-" I freeze as we lock eyes.

"Meg?!"
"Solenn?!" We both exclaim in surprise.

"What are you doing here? I thought-" she begins, but then cuts herself off.

"Wait a minute! I really need to go to the restroom," she says, and immediately rushes off.

WHAT THE-?! I'm dumbfounded for a moment before returning to my table.

After five minutes, she comes out of the restroom looking relieved. Approaching me with an embarrassed expression, she says shyly, "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean it. How can I make it up to you?"

Her look-like a little girl scolded by her mother-suddenly seems so adorable. I try to sound annoyed, "Make it up to me...for what? For carelessly spilling coffee on me, you careless woman?" Yet, the anger I felt earlier vanishes as soon as I see who bumped into me.

"Y-yeah? And also, for everything you've done for me, I really want to repay your kindness. I hope you won't refuse this time," she says sincerely. My interest is suddenly piqued.

"Is that so? Then what would you have me do if I don't refuse?" I ask with a smirk. Of course, I won't take advantage of her-my intentions are pure.

"Really?! But I'm not sure yet... b-but you, how do you want me to repay you? Whatever you want," she replies, excitement lacing her words as I frown in thought.

"Whatever I want? Really, Ms. Sekiguchi?" I tease, causing her to look momentarily confused.

"Yeah? Whatever you want?" she repeats hesitantly.

"Are you sure about that? Then-" My phone suddenly rings.

"Wait, I have something important to do, but don't leave yet, okay? Let's settle this later!" I say in a hurry as I answer the call. She nods with a confused expression and then sits near the glass wall facing our table.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. Where are you?" the designer asks as I look around and see him approaching.

"No problem, over here!" I wave my hand.
