Chapter 20

Zyleith's POV     

                        "Personal Assistant"

It's almost 1 pm in the afternoon, I'm still working on my computer with these paper works.

I was hungry and tired so I rested first, I threw my body on the bed.

This is exhausting, I think I need someone to help me with those things, should I hire someone to be my personal assistant?

I need someone who's hard working and reliable in everything, where do I start? hmm but maybe I need to tell them first but next time because I have other plans before this day end.

I got up from my bed then I hurried to the bathroom.

After taking a shower, I immediately dressed formally, then grabbed my phone and car keys before going out.

I was halfway up the stairs when I thought of Meg, is she in her room right now? I don't know but I went back upstairs.

*Knocks*

"Meg? are you there?" I asked while knocking, then few seconds later, the door opened revealing the gorgeous and hot woman.

My eyes widened as gulped when I looked at her from head to toe,
her hair is tied in a high bun and she's wearing an oversized plain lavender t-shirt and cycling, revealing her milky white and flawless thighs.

"Solenn? hey! I'm talking to you" She said  curiously as I looked away.

"Oh sorry, are you busy?" I asked while pretending scrolling on mg phone.

"Not really, why?" She said with curious facial expression.

"Would you mind if you accompany me?" I said as she was a bit surprised.

"Hm okay? where are going?" She agreed.

Yes! I'm glad, even though I don't why I want her to accompany me.

I'm planning to visit the house and the farm, it's been a long time since I last visited there.

Meg is the only person I will take there, for the first time I'll go there with someone.

"That's good then! and go get dressed first" I said awkwardly as she looked at herself.

She immediately ran to her bedroom.

Cutie.

I just realized that my cheeks heating up and my heart beating fast, this happens every time she's around. Do I like that woman? that can't be, maybe this is just normal? I don't know I'm confused, but if ever I do like her then maybe it's okay? nothing's wrong with that right?

Oh my flirty heart.

when she got dressed, we immediately got off and went to the parking lot.

I opened the car door for her.

"Thank you"  She said with a spare smile as she sat next to the driver seat, then I hop and immediately drove off.

My actions in front of this woman is really surprising me, always happens.

While driving, I glanced at her, she's just peeking though the window while looking amusingly every places we passed.

The silence between us is deafening, so I'm gonna break it.

"Have you eaten? it's almost two hours before we arrive at our destination" I said while driving.

"Hm where are we going anyway?" She asked curiously.

"You will find out later" I answered. I saw her reflection in the front mirror.

She snorted, it made me smile.

"By the way, I'm happy for you that you have already bought land for the business you are going to build, congrats and better luck" I said gladly. I'm happy for her.

"Thank you, If it wasn't you, I still wouldn't be able to buy land, thank you for always helping me" She said sincerely with bright her smile. Oh those lovely eyes, her pupils always dilated every time she's happy. How wonderful.

"Oh don't mention it, but you're welcome" I softly said.

"I suddenly remembered, I haven't reciprocated the good thing you have done for me" She said in surprise.

The thing we are about to settle when we're on the coffee shop.

"Do we have the same thing in mind? I forgot about it too" I said as I took a glance on her.

"Yeah I think? It's about something we are about to settle before, right?" She said. As I've thought.

"You said that anything that I want right? I think I already know what I want" I said with a spare smile.

"Hm then what do you want? or what do you want me to do for you?" She said while grinning.

Since I need someone to hire as my personal assistant,what a perfect timing! but I hope she won't refuse.

"While everything is still being processed in setting up the business, why don't you work first? I mean if you want to" I said that made her wonder.

"I've thought of that too, actually I started looking for a job but I haven't seen anything yet" She said disappointedly.

"Is that so? then work for me, as my personal assistant" I said straight that made her very surprised.

"Wait-what? as your personal assistant? are you sure? I mean me?" She asked me unbelievably.

"Yeah definitely! and don't worry I won't give you a hard time, just do your job well and you always stay by my side because I need you as a personal assistant by my side" I said while she looks hesitant.

"What do you think? and don't worry about the salary" I added.

"Hm I would accept that offer and besides you've done a lot of good things for me, so I will also take that as a chance to make it up to you" She sincerely this time.

I don't know why, but I'm happy.

"Glad to hear that, thank you Ms. Sekiguchi" I said gladly.

"Anyway, let's buy something to eat first" I said and stopped to the nearby restaurant for take out.

We went inside to get take out food, and after a few minutes of waiting, our order was handed to us and we immediately returned to the car.

We just ordered two boxes of pizza, milk tea for her and a smoothie for me, then two bottles of water and two pork pastils or pork adobo mixed with rice on a disposable box.

I just took a piece of pizza, eating it while my other hand is on the steering wheel.

I took a glance on her, who's busy eating like a little girl.

"Eat slowly" I mumbled as she hid her embarrassed face but I saw it already.

After eating, I told her to sleep first and I will wake her up when we reach our destination.

She really did, sleeping beauty.

It's almost 3 o'clock in the afternoon and we're getting near to our destination.

I'm so excited to get there, I don't know but I am happy to be there again and this time with this sleeping koala next to me.
