"War is coming"
He was in the middle of an important phone call when his personal driver—who also served as one of his bodyguards—suddenly barged into his office, panting heavily.
"Just get to the point," Havier snapped, clenching his jaw. "And make sure it's not a waste of my time."
"S-Sir… someone did it again," the bodyguard stammered, still catching his breath. "Another act of vandalism on your car. B-But I had it cleaned immediately before anyone else could see it."
His expression darkened. His fists clenched as his blood boiled in fury.
"Damn it!" he growled. "Whoever this bastard is, they’re determined to ruin my reputation. I need to find this pest before they do something even worse."
His mind raced. If my past ever gets exposed, I could lose everything.
"We'll find them, Sir. There are surveillance cameras everywhere, including the parking lot. We might have caught something useful," the bodyguard assured him.
He shot up from his chair. "Let's go to the surveillance room. Now."
They hurried down to the second floor, where the security office was located. Upon arrival, He barked at the surveillance officer, "Check the footage. I want to know who the hell is behind this."
The officer immediately pulled up the recordings. As the footage played, Havier's jaw tightened.
"As I expected," he muttered in frustration. "They're not stupid enough to show their face."
The suspect was dressed in a black hoodie and wore a mask. Even though their identity was concealed, their message was crystal clear.
Spray-painted in bold red letters on Havier's car were the words:
"CHAIRMAN HAVIER ALEJANDRO CUEVAS IS AN ANGEL IN DISGUISE! BUT HE'S REALLY THE DEVIL!!! A MURDERER!!! A CRIMINAL!!! I WILL EXPOSE HIS EVIL FOR ALL TO SEE!!!"
He fury reached its peak. "Increase security. Double the guards in every area of the building. No unauthorized person gets in—understood?"
"Yes, Sir!" the surveillance officer responded firmly.
"I’ll inform the rest of the security team immediately, Sir!" the bodyguard added.
"Good. And remember—if this person dares to show up again, you catch them. No excuses." His voice was laced with a deadly warning.
Both men nodded, bowing slightly before He stormed out of the room.

Meanwhile, in another office across town, He lounged in his chair, an amused smirk on his lips. He was in the middle of an intense moment with his latest conquest when a knock on the door ruined the mood.
"Terrible timing," the woman huffed, rolling her eyes.
Xavier sighed, brushing a hand through her hair. "Relax, babe. I’ll deal with this, then I’ll tell you all about it later."
She got up from his lap, shooting the door an annoyed glare before strutting out.
Xavier, clearly irritated, barked, "Who the hell is it?!"
The door opened hesitantly, and one of his men stepped inside. "S-Sir Xavier, my apologies for interrupting…"
"Yeah, yeah—you already did. So, this better be good, or I’m throwing your ass out of here." Xavier leaned back, arms crossed.
The man swallowed nervously. "Sir, my team has been gathering intel across the country. One of our contacts in Palawan spotted someone who looks exactly like the woman you’ve been searching for all these years."
Xavier's smirk vanished. His eyes gleamed with something dark and dangerous. "Are you sure?"
"Yes, Sir," the man—Anthony—nodded quickly. "I distributed clear photos of her to all my sources. One of them managed to take a picture."
Anthony handed over his phone.
Xavier's grip tightened around the device as his eyes scanned the image. His lips curled into a wicked grin.
"Finally," he whispered. "After all these years… Gotcha."
He handed the phone back, his mind already racing with plans.
"What’s the next move, Sir?" Anthony asked.
He leaned forward, his grin widening. "For now, do not touch her. First, I’ll destroy her pathetic father. I’ll strip him of everything—his power, his wealth, his dignity. And once he has nothing left, I’ll take his beloved daughter right in front of him."
Anthony nodded. "Understood, Sir. And in the meantime?"
"Keep vandalizing the old man’s properties," He ordered with a smirk. "Make him squirm."
"Yes, Sir!" Anthony saluted.
Xavier pulled out an envelope of cash, tossing it toward him. "Consider this your reward. Now get out of my sight before I change my mind."
Anthony grabbed the envelope eagerly. "Thank you, Sir!" He bowed and left in a hurry.
He poured himself a glass of liquor, swirling it in his hand.
"We’ll see each other soon, dear sister," he mused darkly. "I can’t wait for our little family reunion."
He downed the drink, letting the burning sensation fuel his hunger for revenge.
