Chapter 25

Akari's POV

                        "SaturDate: Picnic"

We are here at the side of the river surrounded by trees and edge part of farm. She didn't immediately say that we would go on a picnic although I already had an idea about it.

I was surprised, and now I'm thinking that this is a picnic date.

But wow, I didn't know there was such a beautiful place at the end of this farm. The scenery here is breathtakingly beautiful and definitely relieves fatigue and stress, the air is fresh and the river is clear and clean.

I feel like paddling in that river right now.

"Hey why are you so quiet? you're even spacing out" She suddenly spoke while chewing her food.

"H-huh? I just can't get over the beauty of this place" I said in admiringly.

"Thank you for taking me here" I added as she smiled.

I feel like I'm going to melt with every look and smile she gives me.

"I'm glad you like it here, this place was one of my favorite place to visit secretly when I was a teenager" She said calmly but there's hint of sadness and bitterness.

I took her hand and caresses it "You can visit here again whenever you want, without worry and fear and I know you can do it, and I also just want you to know that you are not alone, I am here for you, Solenn" I said softly with reassuring smile.

"Thank you, somehow my heart is relieved and my fear disappears every time you're here by my side" She said softly with a bright eyes and smile this time.

I'm happy that somehow I was able to calm her mind and heavy chest or even just lighten up her mood.

"Why are you looking at me like that? I might melt, you might fall for me harder" She said teasingly as she chuckled.

Oh Gosh.

"Looks like you're really in the mood now, full of yourself huh" I said jokingly while raising my brow.

"Why am I wrong hm? you're really in love with me aren't you?" She said confidently while grinning.

Gosh. So she also has this side huh, the wind suddenly got stronger here.

But she's right, who wouldn't fall for her? she's beautiful inside and out, she can pull both.

"Spacing out again? Gosh. Is that how I affect you? hahaha" She burst out of laughter.

Such a tease, but I love seeing her smiling and hearing her laughter.

"You know what? just eat" I took a piece of pizza and I fed her.

She was about to say something "Shh..don't speak when your mouth is full" I said while grinning. She looks like a hamster right now haha cutie.

"Aw~ my hamster" I said teasingly as she glared at me, then she took a piece of chocolate donut and put it in my mouth.

"Aw~ my baby koala is a messy eater hahahaha" She laughed out loud.

Instead of being annoyed, I'm happy to see her like that rather than quiet and serious.

"It's delicious, I love it!" I exclaimed in joy.

"Messy eater.." She leaned closer to me and wiped the corner of my lips using her thumb.

I was surprised by her sudden action, my cheeks started to heat up as my heart beat rapidly.

I suddenly remembered our first kiss, especially that night.

Gosh. It drives me crazy every time I remember.

"You look so tense, your face is red" She said teasingly.

"B-because it's h-hot! though" I stammered nervously.

"Really? but it's windy here, what's on your mind hm?" She said while smirking.

"N-nothing! stop smiling like that, it's weird" I rolled my eyes.

"Hahahaha you're so cute! Gosh" She's laughing like crazy again while holding her stomach.

"What's so funny Ms. Perez? is it really fun to tease me hm?" I said sassily while glaring at her.

"Pft! You look like an angry koala hahaha my baby koala is mad~ achuchu~" Now she's even squeezing my cheeks.

Seriously? what's wrong with this hyper woman right now?! she's cute at the same time annoying.

"Is that how pizza affects you? or I'm just your happy pill? stop squeezing my cheeks! it might be swollen~" I whined. my cheeks is not squeeze toy! Gosh, my poor cheeks huhu.

"I don't want to because you're so cute~ and of course! you are my happy pill, my adorable koala" She keeps teasing me.

You really don't want to stop huh *smirked*

She was stunned for a moment "Y-you why did you--" She was surprised by what I did. I just steal a kiss, peck kiss on her lips to shut her up.

That's the cutest reaction.

"What?" I said as if nothing happened.

"You shouldn't have done that, you don't know how much I restrain myself" She said tensely that made me so nervous. I might melt the way she look at me. My cheeks started to heat up again, Gosh.

"W-what do you mean? this is not even the first time and it's just a peck kiss though" I'm just pretending that it has no effect on me, even the truth is my heart almost jumped out of my chest 'cause I'm so nervous.

"You don't understand, are you even aware about the consequence of what you did?" She said seductively as she smirked.

Oh Gosh. She's hot right now yet dangerous, help.

"W-what are you saying? what consequence huh?" I said as if I don't get it.

"hm consequence that you might like" She said confidently.

She smirked seductively.

"H-how are y-you even so sure? the confidence huh! I--" I didn't finish what I was going to say when she suddenly grabbed me by my neck.

I just closed my eyes when she claimed my lips, I can't even move, it's like my whole body became weak.

I just realized that I was responding to her kisses, as I wrapped my hands around her nape while she's gently caressing my face.

As soon as our lips lock and our tongues battling in dominance, I feel like I'm on cloud nine. A heart fluttering kiss, passionate and intense but still gentle, it gives me butterflies in my stomach and a strong voltage running through my veins.

That kiss didn't last that long but it was as if time stopped temporarily.

We stopped from that special and unforgettable kiss, we looked at each other breathlessly before she kissed me softly on my forehead.

I looked at her once again with too much affection before hugging her.

Gosh. This woman is driving me insane, I feel like I've fallen into a deep trap and I don't know how get out. I feel like I'm drowning in my own feelings for her.
