Today is saturday, and saturday and sunday is rest day from work and all things related to work.
I thought about asking Meg, I don't know if it's called a date? 'cause I don't really know how to ask her out. I'll just make excuses? I'm not an expert in this kind of thing though, but I'll try it anyway in my own way.
Since I have decided to go back handling the farm or focus on it again apart from handling the resort, I will be busier so I should make the most of the two days rest day.
It's 12:34 pm in the afternoon, I have showered and dressed formally. I'm just swinging in my swivel chair while scrolling on my phone when and I remembered that I didn't have Meg's number and her social media yet.
I got up immediately and went outside. I keeps knocking on the door of her room.
I'm annoyed, I knocked for about five minutes before the door opened.
"That's why it took so long" I murmured. She's wearing headphone then she removed it.
"S-sorry I didn't hear you knocking right away, do you need anything?" She shyly said while I'm just staring at her.
She's wearing white cotton pants and an oversized black t-shirt with an anime girl on it, it looks like she has taken a bath, her curly loose hair is messy.
Gosh. She look so cool at the same time cute right now.
I'm not annoyed anymore.
"What's the matter?" She asked curiously while frowning.
Oh damn! I spaced out.
"I'm just here to ask for your phone number as well as your social media? so yeah" I said awkwardly.
"Hm..okay, here and just put yours too" She handed me her phone as I took it.
I saved her phone number as well as mine to her contact and I put it on favorite, then I named her 'Ms. Koala Sekiguchi🐨' quite long but I like it! and then I added the only social media she has and she confirmed it.
"Here, thank you" I returned it to her.
"Is that all you're up to here?" She asked.
"Actually no, get dressed 'cause we're going somewhere later or even if you're just like that, whatever you like to wear" She was surprised by what I said at the same time curious.
"Is that so? where are we going?" She asked, as I expected.
"You'll find out later and no more questions for now okay? by the way I gotta go, I still have something to do" I said as she pouted.
I smiled when I turned back 'cause Gosh! she's cute and I want to kiss that tempting lips of her.
I went back to my room to prepare things to bring for the picnic later, yes! picnic.
I thought of taking her there to my secret and favorite place where it is still occupied by the farm. That place is one of my favorite places to visit when I was a teenager, where's near at the edge part of the farm near the river.
I prepared the picnic blanket, bug spray, sun cream, first aid kit and and other picnic essentials before I got out and went to the parking lot to put them in the car backseats.
I sat on the driver seat then I took my phone from my pants pocket, I'll message her.
