It was early morning in the HQ and R stretched her arms above her head, letting out a long yawn as she still a bit sleepy even though it was half an hour since she had woken up. Following her return from the world of Akame Ga Kill with C, K and her new and second girlfriend Esdeath, she had a hard time waking up all rested up in the morning because of her having some catching up to do with 6O and trying to balance dating both her and 6O. At least there was a bright side to all of it as her time with her two girlfriends was amazing and it allowed her to mess with Q more.
The female watcher hummed to herself, finding herself smilling a bit as she recalled how angry Q was with her last night after she was kept awake at night by her and her girlfriend and how much angrier she got when she offered her to join them. Messing with her like this was always fun to her. Especially after she went against her by outright stating TF2 was better than Overwatch by doing her stupid powerpoint presentation. Seeing how Q was reacting to her really made her wonder how would C deal with her if the two had their rooms next to each other.
She reached her destination a second later, finding herself in front of the door to her and C's work room and grabbed the door handle. Pushing the door open, she entered the room and looked around herself to see if C was already inside even if the answer was obvious to her. She got the confirmation a second later as she saw C sitting by her desk and smiled at the view of t. From the looks of it, it seemed looked like her best friend barely got any sleep last night.
"Good morning." She greeted her just in time for C to look up towards her after she heard her open the door and walk into their workroom.
C greeted her in return with a nod of her head, "Good morning to you too. Did you sleep well?"
"You could say that." R smirked a bit when she voiced her answer. C immediately knew what she meant by that and blushed a bit, rolling her eyes as R chuckled at her answer, "What about you? DId you stayed here all night again?"
"Yes." C didn't bother denying this, knowing what happened the last time when she tried to deny this to R. She doubted she would be able to hide this as well because of her appearance as she could tell her hair was a mess and she definitely had eye bags under her eyes.
R stopped in her tracks and crossed her arms with an amused look on her face, "Jeez. Do you ever sleep?"
"Don't blame for this. I started to work on something last night and lost the track of time." C explained to her, adjusting her glasses as she let out a tired yawn.
"Want some coffee?" R asked, letting out another chuckle as she turned away from C towards the table in the corner with the coffee machine and all the coffe supply on it.
"Yeah. I'd like some." C replied with a nod of her head as R moved and fetched the coffe for her and C, putting it into two coffee cups.
R looked over her shoulder at C, beginning to work on the coffee, "What do you want in your coffee?"
"Two sugars as usual please." C gave her the answer.
"Alrighty." R replied in understanding as she turned back to the coffee machine and focused herself on working on the coffee. Once she was done with it a moment later, she picked up the two cups and walked over to C before placing her cup on the table while smilling, "Here you go~."
"Thank you." C voiced her gratitude to R as she picked up the cup and took a sip from it. She smiled a bit, knowing this was exactly what she needed right now.
R smiled a bit more after seeing her best friend smile, taking a sip of her coffe herself and shot C a questioning look, "So. What have you been working."
C placed her cup on the desk and looked up at R, "Good thing you asked me about this as I was about to bring this up to you. You see. Recently I got an idea regarding something and started to work on it whenever I got the time to do so. I stayed up late last night as it would be the final phase of preparing it and I wanted to get this done..."
