G whistled quietly to himself, having his hands in his pockets as he walked through the hallways of the HQ of the watchers of the multiverse. He was currently on his way to the living room, having left his work room where he usually spent his days where he would have a meeting with Q about an urgent matter she wanted to talk with him about. He didn't really know why she needed him as she hadn't specified to him what they meeting would be about when she called for him.
The male watcher had his suspicions regarding why Q wanted to have this meeting with him, though as something in the back of his mind was telling him it had something to do with Mimi and Mini. She came to him right after the two robots were brought to the HQ by her because of her needing scrap as part of her daughters diet and he suspected it had something to do with it or something else related to the girls. After all, he was one of the best people at the HQ to approach about this kind of stuff.
He looked ahead of himself upon arriving at the room and looked around himself to see if Q was already there. She wasn't. Someone else was present there, though. It was C. G was not suprised by her presence in the living room right now as he could already tell she was there because of Q as well. If there was a second person in the HQ who would be perfect to ask for help related to the robot related stuff, then it was C. C didn't notice him
He pushed himself into walk towards her and called out to her once he found himself close enough to her, "Hey, C."
C looked up from her phone at him, "Oh, hey, G! Let me guess. Q called you to met up with here?"
"Yeah. I was about to ask you about that." G nodded in confirmation, having just made his way to C and sat down next to her, "Has she told you what she wants from us?"
C shook her head, "No. But I already kind of suspect it."
"Mimi and Mini?" G guessed.
C gave him a nod of confirmation, "Yeah. To be honest I think she didn't specify what she wants from us when she called us because she knows we already know what she wants from us."
"Yeah. It's hard to argue with you here." G replied with a look of agreement as he rested his elbows on the table. He looked at C questioningly a second later, "She is coming a bit late. You know why?"
"I texted her about it just before you called out for me." C started to answer as she handed him her phone to prove her point to to him. G took the phone from her and looked down at the text messages between C and Q while C explained further to him, "She told me she needed to go the bathroom so she should be here in a moment."
"Alright." G nodded in understanding, looking down at the text from Q where she said "In a moment. Bathroom.". He shifted his gaze from it back to C a second later and handed her phone back to her. Wanting to kill the time before Q will arrive to speak with them, he decided to to start a conversation with C, "So. How did you day went?"
C shrugged and leaned back a bit in her seat, "Pretty chill to be honest. I didn't really have much to do as R was acting normal today and the Eds didn't need my help in cleaning up another mess they made."
G raised his brow and shot her a playful expression, "Wow. You had a chill day around here? This calls for the celebration."
"Tell me about it." C nodded in agreement. She could count the days when she had a calm day around here without having to deal with anything on her fingers, "I actually slept in as nothing or rather no one woke me up and I spent the morning watching one of the old Godzilla movies."
G kept his brow raised, "Again? Didn't you watch it enough times already?"
"Yeah. So?" C shrugged her shoulders, "I knew I would have fun with it so I went for it."
