Watchers of the Multiverse

Pacifica: A New Connection

It was night time at the HQ of the watchers of the multiverse and most of the residents of the large mansion were already asleep, having called it a day and having decided to gather energy for the next day whatever would happen in it. There were a few exceptions among them, though. Most of them were spending their time wasting the night away playing video games or binging TV shows/anime or doing some other activities they like to do at night once everyone else had gone to sleep.

Pacifica was one of those exceptions. However, she wasn't spending her night in her room like most others and was spending time outside in the garden instead, taking care of all plants in it and getting to know it as best as she could. She knew she could do this during the day but she didn't mind doing it during the night and staying up late either. She always liked night as well. Working in the garden during the night always felt calming to her and was definitely something she saw as a relaxing activity. Even if she there were some other things she liked to do during the night as well.

She smiled to herself, watering down plants in front of her as she looked around herself and allowed herself to admire the garden around her. Even if she had became well accustomed to it over the course of the last several days, she still couldn't help but admire the place each time she found herself in it. U had done a great job at taking care of it and the garden was even better than the one she had in D's wristband world.

The varienty of plants made this place even better for her. There were all kinds of places and she knew U must have collected them either by herself during her own travels or asked the watchers to collect something for her during their own travels. Pacifica asked U if she could add some plants to the garden in the future herself, having a few worlds she was interested in visiting and U reassured her that she wouldn't mind this, making Pacifica happy in the process.

She was introduced to Peter by U the first time she paid a visit to her garden as well and Peter was super adorable. He seemed to like her from their interaction as he always happily replied in his own way whenever she had something to say to him. She noticed lack of the carnivorous plants in the garden as well. When she asked U about it, the female watcher grew really nervous and told her she didn't have luck in finding those. Pacifica was really bummed out about this as she always found such plants adorable. Meat was one of her favourite things to eat as well so she always found it cool about those plants.

The blonde haired persona's smile continued to grow the more she worked on watering down the plants in front of her as she found herself thinking about the watchers HQ. Even with some awkward moments in this place such as what happened between Grian and Roman, she really liked this place and she could tell the other personas liked it as well and managed to find place for themselves there. One of the examples being here seeing Matriax, Nathan and Cronon hanging out with T or her seeing Feera at the gym with V and O.

Pacifica was pulled out her thoughts a second later, though as some distant footsteps rang through her ears. She stopped what she was doing right now, looking in the direction of the footsteps with a suprised look on her face. She didn't do anything for the next few seconds, remaining where she stood as she wanted to know if her ears were playing a trick on her right now. She found out they weren't a second later as more footsteps of the same person rang through her ears.

She raised her brow, growing confused and suprised by the distant footsteps because she didn't expect anyone to be close to the garden this late at night. She was left wondering who it could be, because of it as well. She quickly wrote U who was the most likely suspect in this situation off the list, because U told her she doesn't like working during the night when Pacifica asked her if she can work at her garden during the night and she couldn't see any reason why U would wake herself up to go there.

She continued to think over the possible suspects of who it could be as the seconds passed and the footsteps slowly became more distant. She gave up on theorizing who it was a second later, knowing it was just wasting time and decided to go check out who it was herself before the person in question will leave the garden which she assumed was possible due to the footsteps becoming more distant. After all, the best way of finding out who was in the garden right now with her was actually seeing who it was instead of bothering herself with questions and theories of who it was.
