February 18th of 1997

The little girl was moving her feet in the air, sitting on a couch at the Big House. They gave her an orange t-shirt with black things in it, that the little girl didn't know what they were, and black pants and a gray hoodie with an orange circle on the top left.

She was looking around the room curious, inspecting the strange objects in it.

"I sent Argus to check the bus stop but he said that no buses arrived yesterday nor today" Chiron was whispering to Dionysus, who were staring at the girl from the doorway.

"She couldn't have made it on her own" Dionysus said and glanced at him. He sighed tiredly and walked towards the girl. He crouched down to be face to face, drawing the girl's attention "Kid, why don't you tell us how you got here?"

The little girl didn't move at his words, she just kept staring at him. Dionysus glanced back at Chiron who was frowning at the child.

"Can you hear me, girl?" Dionysus asked and got the same answer as always.

Innocent eyes looking at him in silence.

"Maybe she's deaf" Chiron suggested.

Dionysus asked her the first question again but with sign language. The little girl tilted her head at the movements and chuckled.
The God rolled his eyes and stood up.

"It's useless" he said and walked to the kitchen "I cared enough about that girl, it's your problem now"

Chiron sighed and rolled down to the girl. He offered his hand to her and she took it. He lead her outside of the house and he changed into his centaur form. He grabbed the little girl and placed her in his back.

"Fear not, dear girl. We'll discover why you can't communicate and help you" he assured her, although it was more of a promise to himself, since she couldn't understand "Until then, you can make use of the things that Camp has to offer"

Chiron showed her around, talking about the places and explaining them, even if she couldn't understand a word he was saying.

He took her to the Cabin 11, Hermes' Cabin and explained her situation to the counselor. It was a girl of 17 years with dark hair and brown eyes. Chiron left the little girl with her and he left to attend his duties.

"Hi there" the counselor said crouching down to see the girl closely "I'm Lenora, but everyone calls me Nora"

The little girl stayed quiet while Nora waited for an answer.

"So it's true, you can't speak" she said after a while and petted the girl's black hair "It's okay, I can speak enough for both of us"

Nora laughed at her own joke and offered her hand to the girl. She took her to the bottom bed of a bunk bed.

The bed had sheets, a light grey bedspread, a towel in the end of it, a nightstand and a coffer at the end of the bed.

"This will be your bed, until you're claimed by your divine parent" she explained as she sat the girl on her bed, so she knew it was hers "I would ask you if you know if it's your father or mother, but you won't answer"

Nora stared at the girl, hoping she would say anything, but the little girl was moving her hand through the mattress with an opened mouth. Nora had the idea that the girl wasn't speaking because she was just shy, but she was starting to change her mind.

Nora took her to the Camp store, where she bought her some clothes with her money, and to the storage, where she hoped that the girl could pick a weapon, but none of them seem to fit her so she just gave her a little dagger.
