20 comments for next part :)In the early morning, Thea felt Percy wanting to cross the barrier.
From the top of a hill, Thea saw how Percy crossed the white portal, arriving right in the middle of the camp.
She didn't see nor sense any injury on him. She watched as the campers rushed towards him, excited to hear the news.
Bye sis. Love you!
As soon as she was sure Percy was okay, she vanished into a white cloud, leaving Vaoç.
The sky went from baby blue to orange the closer it got to the horizon.
Thea stood on a beach, looking out to the sea. The salty air was cool as the wind blew on her face, moving her loose hair to a side.
She knew that, a few miles into the ocean from where she stood, was the spot where the Princess Andromeda had been destroyed.
"Hi, I'm Charles Beckendorf!" His smile was kind, warm.
She had been present during the making of the plan to attack. Even if she didn't, the remains of the boat scattered around the shore would've told her she was in the correct spot, although they weren't many.
She walked around the beach, searching for any trace of Beckendorf. Anything.
She didn't care if it was his body, she didn't care if it was a t-shirt, or a hammer, or a watch. She just needed him.
"I hear you don't speak. Can you understand me?"
Thea started to get desperate when she didn't find anything. Her eyes started to watered as she let out a scream, bending over, her hands closed in fists.
She stared at the ocean with resentment and fury, as if it was the one who took her brother from her.
Just when she was watching, she saw something in the horizon.
Far into the ocean, miles away, something was moving. And fast.
Thea frowned as she stood straight, staring at whatever was coming. It wasn't a person, nor a monster. It didn't have any human shape.
It was tall, wide in the bottom but thinner in the top. Thea focused her eyes on it, enhancing her sight reach to see it better.
The thing wasn't solid. It was made of water.
A wave.Thea marched toward the sea, stepping inside the cold waters. The waves crashed against her body, wetting her clothes from the day before, but she didn't care.
She didn't stop until she was thigh deep in the water, sea foam surrounding her. Before she knew it, the wave was feets away from her. Thea noticed that there was something solid in the wave.
When it was close to her, it got shorter on height. The end of it got near Thea's hands.
Thea took a shaky breath once she saw the object. She stretched a hand out, her palm opened. The wave passed through her hand, wetting it, and placed something in it.
It was a little, black leather strip, and a few beads. It was Beckendorf's Camp necklace, or at least, the remains of it.
The necklace wasn't even the half of a regular necklace, the leather strip loose and too short, and there were only two beads.
Beckendorf had been at Camp Half-blood for almost twelve years.
Thea's throat started closing, an unbearable pain crushing her heart, making it difficult for her to breathe.
