Please don't be ghost readers!!
20 comments for next part :)The first night in Vaoç was messy. There were still so many things to get in order, while the campers went to the Dining Hall next to the river to get dinner.
The last 24 hours were intense and the demigods were still getting used to this new reality. They were still mourning their loved ones of the Battle of the Labyrinth and their entire routine had changed, being in a completely different place.
Nico Di Angelo didn't like the crowded places, so he sneaked away from the dining area to go to the woods, thinking his presence would go unnoticed.
He didn't know what to do now. No one at camp liked him, he didn't want to be in the Underwold. He just wanted to see his sister.
So he did.
He looked around the woods to check he was alone, before raising his hands and summoning Bianca's spirit.
It took him a while, but his sister's spirit appeared in front of him. Her ghostly shape glowing blue.
"Nico..." she smiled sadly at him.
"I needed to see you" he explained, his throat closing "I can't bring you back to life, I've learned my lesson"
"That's good" she nodded at him "I chose my path when I joined the Hunters, it was what I wanted to do with my life. Now, you need to find your own path, without me"
"I... I don't think I can. I don't know what I want" he shook his head, looking down at the branches below his feet.
"Maybe she can help you" Bianca said, nodding at something behind him.
Nico turned around and find Thea walking towards him, her clothes still black. Even though she had a gloomy expression, she gave Nico one of her warm smiles.
"Hi, Bianca" she said softly to the ghost in front of her, as she stood next to Nico.
"Hey, Aunt" Bianca replied with a grin.
"Bianca, I'm... I'm so sorry, sweetie" Thea shook her head, looking at her with sorrow "There is not a day in my life where I don't wish I could've done something more"
"Don't be, Liz" Bianca frowned and smiled gratefully at her "Thanks to you, I got to be part of the Hunters. You encouraged me to join, to do something I wanted. It may have been a short time, but I don't regret a thing. Thank you"
"You don't need to worry about Nico" she told her, placing a hand on his shoulder as she glanced at him "I'll take good care of him"
"I know you will" she said, looking back at Nico "Be a kid, Nico. Enjoy life, okay?"
"I'll try" he replied "For you"
"I must go. It was nice seeing you, aunt" she told Thea. She turned to Nico and smiled brightly at him "Goodbye, brother. I love you"
"I love you too, Bianca" he told him, his eyes watering.
Her spirit faded and they were left alone in the woods. Thea rubbed Nico's back as he let a few tears fall.
Thea sensed a demigod behind her and glanced over her shoulder to see Percy a few feet away.
Give me a minute she got into his mind and delivered the message. Percy nodded and stood back.
"Thank you" Nico mumbled as he wiped the tears away "I'm fine"
"I have an offer for you" she said softly.
"What offer?" He asked intrigued, his head raising just a little to look at her face.
"You know that I've moved to a house?" She asked him, raising her eyebrows, to which he nodded "In my home, there is a bedroom, made just for you"
