Thea and her were in an IKEA searching for furnitures for her new home. Of course, she could simply create any furniture she wanted, but she wanted to do it the mortal way. Plus, she'd never been in an IKEA before.
She needed a second opinion on the furnitures, so she invited Demeter. It wasn't until an hour later when she realized the mistake of asking the opinion of a Goddess who lives in a Palace, where everything is expensive and elegant.
"No! I want something normal, not that" she pointed at the gigantic table.
"Argh! Fine!" Demeter rolled her eyes and looked around. She spotted a table a few feet away and pointed her finger at it "What about that one?"
Thea followed her sister to the table. It was a rectangular table with round borders made of oak. It was classy, but beautiful.
"It's not bad" Thea ran her hand across the table "I like it, and it's big enough for eight people at least"
"This one it is" Demeter wrote down the name of the table in the notebook that they gave them "Alright, then we have the kitchen, living room, dining room, the hanging porch seat, the library, the three bathrooms and your bedroom. There's only five bedrooms to go, plus whatever decoration you want for your backyard"
"Maybe we can leave the backyard for another day, we've already bought a lot of stuff" she suggested, walking on the main aisle over to the bedroom section "Now, for the bedrooms I want four of them to be simple, you know"
"What about if we give each a signature color? One could be green, another one blue!" Demeter told her, walking along side her with an excited smile and a crazy look.
"Or, you know, just pick two colors in for the four bedrooms. Like... white and sky blue!" Thea shrugged, receiving a weird look from her sister.
"Where's the fun in that?"
"Fine, we'll do it your way. But-!" She pointed a finger at Demeter's face "We will only choose two colors, one color will be for two rooms, and the other color will be for the other two"
"Green and sky blue!" Demeter smiled, running to a King size bed with a green bedspread and jumping to it.
"No" she shook her head and Demeter gasped "Sky blue and gray"
"Why not green?!" She yelled at her.
"I don't like it that much" Thea shrugged her shoulders.
"How dare you" Demeter stared at her, clearly offended "It's one of my signature colors!"
"It's nothing personal, I just prefer gray" she fought the urge to laugh at her sister's face.
"Fine!" She stood up from the bed and walked to another bed "How about this one?"
The bed was queen size, made of white wood, with a headrest, and had a white bedspread, a sky blue blanket on the feet, and a lot of pillows with different shades of blue.
Thea walked over to it and moved the bedspread to see the sheets, white with gray strikes. She laid down on the bed to see how the mattress was.
"Very comfortable. I like it" she decided, looking over at Demeter.
"What, the whole thing?" She frowned and moved her hand around, pointing at the bed "Sheets, pillows and all?"
"Yep. Write it down"
