20 comments for next part :)Thea woke up to the sound of the birds. She lowly opened her eyes, looking outside her window. The sun was high, and if she focused, she could hear voices from afar.
She looked to the other side of her bed, to the clock on her nightstand. It marked 09:34.
She took a deep sigh and sat up, pushing her white bedspread to the end of the bed. She placed her feet on the floor, her skin brushing against the soft gray rug. She stood up and made her bed, then headed for her walk-in closet to change. She changed her pijamas to a short, ripped jean with a maroon top and a pair of Nike sneakers.
She took her time brushing her hair, putting on all of her necklaces- the heart locket, the Camp Half-blood's, Beckendorf's birthday gift and Poseidon's birthday gift- and after that, she took a look around to make sure not to forget anything.
Her room was big, bigger than the one in her temple. It had a double glass door that lead to a balcony, an armchair on a corner of a room, a window seat, a queen size bed with a white bedspread and a lot of pillows, a desk were she had all of her jewelry and she gets ready, a door that lead to the bathroom and her walk-in closet.
Once she was done, she nodded to herself and walked out to the hallway. Instead of going downstairs, she walked down the hall to the room closest to the stairs. She knocked on the door and walked in, not waiting for a response.
"Rise and shine!" She said, crossing the room and going straight to the window. She grabbed the curtains and flew them open, filling the bedroom with light and warmth.
She heard a groan coming from the bed and the sheets moving, as she opened the window to let the fresh morning air in. She turned around with a smile.
The room was much more beautiful in the daylight. The white walls, the oak wooden floors, the desk on the right side with a bookcase, where there were some books of greek myths as well as stories from Italy. There was a mini living, with two armchairs and a coffee table, there were shelves on the next wall full of games and Mythomagic figurines. On the left wall, between the bed and the door, there was a big, black closet with a mirror.
The dark gray bedspread was thrown on the floor, a human shape could be seen under the white sheets with gray lines, trying to avoid the sunlight.
"Come on!" She said, walking to the bed and sitting down, moving the person's shoulder "I'll make breakfast"
There was a silence before the person replied.
"What breakfast?" He mumbled under the sheets.
"Pancakes" she replied, tentatively.
Nico removed the sheet from his face and stared at her with a sleepy smile.
Ever since last summer, Nico spent two or sometimes three nights in Vaoç, while the rest of the week he spent in the Underworld
He groaned as he sat up and left the bed, heading for the bathroom down the hall.
"I'll wait downstairs!" She told him, walking to the staircase.
Nico came down about ten minutes later. By that time, Thea had already made the pancakes and was sitting on the kitchen barstool.
"Morning" he said, his face washed and his hair messy.
"Hi, sweetie" she smiled at him "How'd you sleep?"
"Great. Every time I sleep here, the dreams are not so bad" he replied, grabbing a pancake and putting Nutella on it. He cleared his throat and looked at her nervously "How's the fight?"
