Chapter 11 (Picking Up Ryan)

Two weeks has passed since the news of Major Generals marriage spread and it's been more than a week that Karlyle, Eugene and Allen returned to their division in South, East and West to continue their job as Major General of  each division. Only Damian left since his division is in North with Ryan but Damian need to handle a program involving the female soldier so he need to left for a few days and just like that Ryan continue his days as a single husband just like before the marriage. They discuss it with Ryan at dinner before they go. Although Ryan already specifically put in the contract that they can do anything without have to inform Ryan but just to be safe they still told him.

''...Husband.'' Called Damian while they are having dinner. Again, all of them put the responsibility talking to Damian.

''Yes?'' Ryan looked at Damian as he hear his named called.

''I just want to tell you that Karlyle, Allen and Eugene need to leave in few days to their division.''

''Really? I see, then be careful on your journey. Tell me if you need anything.''

''We will try to come back when we have a chance.... At least once a month...'' Karlyle voice was suddenly heard. He just felt that he need to say something atleast. Since all of their division was quite far from here, it will be hard for them to gather again. This time just because for the event and since it already ended they need to return to their position. Plus now that their status changed to married, it give an impression that they abandon their male for their job. Most female that involve with army either resign or gave everything that their male want just to being able resume their job. In their case, they are quite lucky that Ryan let them do anything they want.

''I will be waiting then. Don't worry to much just focus on your job, I'm doing just fine here.'' Ryan reply to Karlyle with a smile. Karlyle give an impression like a fierce cat that don't like to be touch but silently enjoy being pampered. So it was quite a progress that he was willing trying to give guarantee to Ryan eventhough he don't have to.

''Tell me if you want to eat anything when you come back. I will cook for you.'' Ryan smiled as he cast a glance at Allen. Allen who was busy eating chocked.

''Cough couch....'' Seeing a hand that hold out a glass of water, Allen snatch the glass to drink it right away. Allen really did hear the conversation but at the same time the dish infront of him catch his intention more so as he eating, he accidently look at Ryan face that smiled to him and thus this happen.

After Allen calm down, he look at the hand that passed water to him. Guess what. Yup it's Ryan's hand.

''Are you okay now?'' Ryan looked Allen's face that was a little bit red. His skin tone that a little bit tan really look pretty when his face turns red from the coughing. Allen nodded.

''... I... I'm not..'' Allen try to deny something but Ryan didn't mention his name earlier so he was left with an awkward sentence.

''What? Hmmm?'' Ryan really enjoy teasing Allen and seeing his flushed face. It's been awhile being this lively. What a nice feeling.

''.....'' Ryan decide to ended it before Allen slam his face to the table.

''Husband.'' Damian once again called Ryan.

''Yes Ian?'' This time Ryan put his focus to Damian.

''After they left, I too need to leave for a few days or maybe a week to attend some work in the army. Is it okay with you?'' Damian carefully utter what he has been thinking earlier.

''Of course. Don't mind me, Ian. You can do anything you want but still thank you for informing me.'' They then continue their dinner with a peaceful atmosphere.
