Chapter 12 (Mentor)

Damian's aircraft landed on ground at Ryan's workplace parking lot as he sending Ryan off, just as he promised yesterday.

''Thank you Ian for sending me.''  Ryan thanked Damian.

''Mm, my pleasure.''  Damian short answer.

''Then what time you will be home? You don't have to pick me up. I plan to cook dinner today, what do you say?'' 

''As usual. You don't have t....''

''Ryan?''  Damian sentence got cut when there was a voice that suddenly call his husband's name. Both of them turn their heads to the source of that voice.

''It's you!''  The owner of the voice once again exclaiming and hurriedly walk to where Ryan and Damian stood.

''Ah. It's Mr.Drake!''  Once Ryan recognise the person that called him he also call him with a little excitement as he walk passing Damian's figure.

''I told you didn't I that you can just call my name. No need the formality.'' Drake sigh when Ryan still with his formal way of calling him even when when he told him he don't have to.

''What are you saying Mr.Drake. You are basically my teacher. How dare I disrespect my senior.''  Ryan just smiled as he saying that. Drake is the one that are in charge in guiding him when he doing his intership. He has been helping him alot since the first time they meet until he graduate. Whenever he has a question regarding his intership, Drake always there helping him. Because of that, Ryan really respect him.

''Sigh, again with that. Nevermind, how are you doing now?''

''I'm doing fine. How about you sir?''

''Me? Oh, I am perfectly fine. It's been a while since we last met, right? Since that time whe...'' 

''Sir Drake.''  Ryan quickly cut Drake sentences. He know what Drake mean since that time. He don't want to remember that 'dark' time. Not in front of Damian at least.

''Ahh. I'm sorry. My bad.'' Drake apologize when he realized his mistake. He shouldn't mention that day again.

''No. It's okay. It's was along time ago. Now sir, what are you doing here? Aren't your workplace far from here?'' Ryan change the topic right away.

''Oh, I have some business here to attend about some research. I didn't expect to met you here.''

''I see.''

''I seem to interrupt you conversation earlier didn't I?''  Drake realised since earlier there was another zerg with Ryan.

''Oh my. I forgot to introduce him to you. I'm sorry Ian. Come here Ian.''  Ryan called Damian as soon as Drake mention about it.

The moment Damian turn his body to face them, Drake instanly know this female zerg. Who don't know this powerful zerg. He has been rise to his position this day all thanks to his own strength since his early 20s. Seems like the rumor he heard was true seeing Major General Damian Colton here with Ryan.

''So the rumor I heard was true then. You married already.'' Guess Drake as his voice slowly going down.

''Oh you also heard it. It's kind of happen. I think you already know my female monarch. It's Damian Colton. Ian, this is Mr.Drake. He used to guide me when I was doing intership at his hospital.''  Ryan didn't notice the change in Drake voice as he introducing them to each other. They both shake their hand.

''How about I show the hospital to you?'' Ryan offer the help since he work here.

''Sure. I don't see why not. Lead the way Doctor Ryan.'' Drake jokingly called Ryan.
