Chase was casually eaten by the squilsh and then Graham and Boulder were like 'we gonna jump into it and kill this thing', one explosion later and the entire problem is casually resolved.
The mess was major, as seen from the episodes, leading to a nice much needed clean up for them all. Chase did mention that he had some parts he would need to clean in private, but that also meant Blades not being around.
In the long run, as Boulder and Heatwave went back down for the night, the two simply found Chase trying to escape from Blades. They were both being quiet, which they did since they weren't too comfortable showing anyone else their little thing going on and they found some sort of relief hiding it.
Now, as to who's side the bots took, there was only one sentence that could describe the exact outcome.
'Guys, no!'
