Optimus did tell Heatwave about the new building for the training center on the mainland, but did it really hit Heatwave that Cybertron was reborn? Absolutely not.
Ratchet actually visited them after their little mishap with the ground bridge, not only to offer some much needed advice but to also confirm that Cybertron has been brought back to life. The Sigma 17 crew were literally freaking out like a bunch of little kids over candy, meanwhile Ratchet watched from afar.
Ratchet did also get to meet the Burns Family through this, and for a bot who actually isn't a fan of humans, he found much to the experience. The medic actually managed to see them in action since an emergency came up, which also gave him many questions regarding how they all worked together.
The Burns Family did have quite a few questions to ask Ratchet regarding Cybertron and other Cybertron related things, which he answered to certain extent due to the fact he was not about to get yelled at by Chief Burns (because he knows what he should and should not tell children).
Kade was probably the most confused that day because Heatwave was pretty much an entirely different bot when Ratchet was present, and it was certainly awkward to see for once in his life.
