40: Fair Maiden - S

Boulder makes a device that works in the wrong way.

"Boulder, it looks so cute!" Blades comments on the design of the machine, seeing how it actually looks like a cute little helper bot. "So this will just help clean the firehouse while we aren't around?"

"Yes, and this thing isn't about to do what Vigil just did long ago." Boulder responds, even though what happened with Vigil was an event from a couple earth days. "And it will not be as creepy as that Siri thing some humans have on their phones."

Boulder finally was able to complete it, turning it on and seeing that it was rather an adorable helper to see in their sights.

"Greetings Gendoger, What would you like me to assist you with?" it spoke, the silence which then was quick to follow was near deafening.

"Boulder, what did it just say?" Blades questions, seemingly scared for his life.

"Greetings Kyolkentrigan, what would you like me to assist you with?" it speaks once more, Blades nearly gasping a little too loudly.

"Boulder, I thought you programmed this thing to do what we ask it to do!" Blades was freaking out a lot. "Not say our names!"

"It actually only cleans the place when it is told to, I never intended for it to call us by our actual Cybertronian names!" Boulder tells him, certainly not expecting this outcome.

"Clean Firehouse, understood." it then begins to zoom off, doing the task that was accidentally commanded to it.

Boulder and Blades watched as it zoomed out, unsure of what to actually do about the whole thing.

The little worker went on his way to clean the firehouse, making sure to scrub the bunker first. As it was doing that job, it seems that the youngest Burns child found some interest.

"Oh, what are you?" Cody asks, confused as to who made this little machine and where it came from.

"Greetings Cody Burns, do you have a task for me?" it says in response, leaving Cody to still be skeptical.

The bot continued to do its job, even greeting all the other Burns children as it cleaned all in the building. There wasn't really much that seemed off with it, it was like this until Chief and Chase returned from patrol.

"Since when did we have a cleaner?" Chase questions, wondering where it had come from.

"We don't." Chief responds. "Robot, what are you doing?"

"Greetings Charlie Burns and Casilonti, do you have a task for me?" it asks as the little arms continue to clean the walls of the garage.

"Casilonti?" The man was confused by the name, not understanding where that came from. Chase was floored, wondering how it got ahold of that name when he has never mentioned it.

"Boulder, what did you do?" Chase asks, hoping to get a good answer regarding the sudden name he was called.

"I didn't program it to do that." Boulder simply tells him. "It really hasn't been doing anything wrong though."

"You realize Heatwave is going to destroy that thing, right?" Chase decides to point out, almost as if it was a good warning.

"Who is this Casserole person?" Chief Burns asks Chase, thinking maybe the blue mech may have some sort of explanation.

"You see, although you know us by our names, that is just them in English." Blades says, explaining the whole thing. "We have names that are Cybertronian, which is what you just heard. We don't use them since none of us really say it often enough."

"It is actually pronounced Cas-elle-on-tee, don't even ask how to spell it." Chase corrects, making sure the mistake isn't made again. "Boulder's is Gen-dog-er and Blades is pronounced like Sye-Cloak-entre-gang."

"Then what is Heatwave's?" he asks, curious about what it could be.

"What am I?" Heatwave enters with Kade, who both have returned from Hayley's for something that Heatwave will complain about later.

"Oh, uh-" Blades tries to cover for what the discussion was.

"Greetings Kade Burns and Miamoricane, do you have a task for me?"

Kade was quick to burst out laughing, finding the second name to be absolutely hilarious, not to mention, for how he can be, he managed to realize it was Heatwave's name a little too quickly.

"You know, you aren't as scary as you think you are." Kade was still laughing and Chief really didn't know how to stop him.

"You know, if things were different, I would let your bones be crushed by my pedes." Heatwave says, going over to the bot and destroying it with ease. "If I hear that name again, I will end something."

The silence that followed seemed to last quite a long while.
