Chase really messed up, because no one was impressed when he 'went undercover'.

"Never do that to me again, please." Blades says, everyone slowly meeting up back in the main garage of the firehouse.

"Yeah, you really had us there for a second." Boulder states, still very relieved that Chase didn't just magically go to the darkside for no reason whatsoever.

"I can agree with that." Dani says, heading towards the group slowly.

"Chase, if you ever decide to do something like that again, say something first." Chief Burns tells, clearly not wanting to deal with that scare ever again in his life, he might not be able to take it.

"Yeah, that was a scare." Cody says, hoping out of the passenger seat of Chase's cab.

"Heatwave, you've been quiet." Kade noticed how silent the bot was, as it more than likely meant one of two things, anger or just because he felt like it.

"Oh no, that's not good." Blades says, knowing where this entire conversation might end up.

"Heatwave." Chase really didn't want to seem like the bad guy here, but, everyone had no idea what would happen next.

It brought a moment of silence, waiting for the red bot to respond. Boulder and Graham could already think of a thousand different ways this entire thing would go down, which definitely included Heatwave saying absolutely nothing at all. Waiting for him to respond went tedious for a bit as the silence was too much to bear.

"Chase, if you ever do that again," the bot paused, transforming to his bot mode and standing over Chase's vehicle mode with his servos calmly planted on his leg joints while he looked down. "I will rip your chest plates off like a door that comes off its hinges. Never, and I mean never, shall I find you doing this again unless you want to deal with much more of a consequence."

No one knew what to say upon that, as it seemed that there was extreme tension that was in the air. The humans all looked at each other in concern, wondering as to how personal that seemed to get.

The Burns family simply decided to just get out of there before it got too heated, knowing they did not want to be a part of that chaos if it broke out by chance. It wasn't long before the elevator was deeply out of sight, and the bots were all left in the quietness of the garage.

"Chase, we've talked about this." Blades says, knowing exactly how disturbed he was by a certain thought. "We thought you were. . . . "

"Don't say his name, please." Chase mutters, knowing exactly what the others were thinking of, after all, none of them were strangers to who his sire was.

"I think you went a little too far." Boulder says, speaking directly to Heatwave for this comment.

"I didn't mean it, I was only getting the humans out of here so we didn't have to discuss it with them!" The bot responds, knowing that he alone can do quite the stuff sometimes.

Chase transformed quickly before heading to the machine, making it so the lift would head down. He could tell they all found something wrong with the bot as he made such moves.

Chase found himself silent, thinking about his undercovering he did, thinking about his sire, his past, all of what he has been trying to avoid, and yet, he feels like he failed himself. The one thing he always desperately wanted to avoid now seemed to be in the driver's seat, leading him down the road that made him ever so similar to his sire.

"Don't cry." Chase didn't even realize the tears that were coming out of his optics, silently watching while Blades just wiped them away gently. "You aren't him."

Blades was quick to hug him, which then brought Heatwave and Boulder right into the mess of it yet bringing a sense of comfort right along with them. Chase could feel the last bit of the tears rolling away as a first felt sadness slowly exited him, a feeling of it somewhat healing his spark so suddenly.

None of the other bots would know how special this moment was, as though it was something truly left forgotten to Chase until he really realized it. The thought didn't hit the police bot until he was almost into recharge, cuddling with Blades somewhere in the bunker.

That moment had been the first time he had ever cried in his entire life.
