5: The Talk About Aliens - S

They should all be recharging, but they aren't because somebot isn't letting it go.

It was very nice to not have to deal with the Alien problem anymore. The secret was safe, and the bots seemingly raised no suspicion at all during the handful of missions the reporter stupidly gave that night.

In the long run, they were all extremely happy to be back in the bunker, where other aliens couldn't get them, and they could all have a quiet and peaceful recharge before someone else decides to do something stupid and call for an emergency.

"Guys, are you sure there still aren't any aliens?" Blades still seemed glued with the whole thing, after all, he did watch too many movies involving those things. "What if they come through the firehouse to eat us?!"

"Blades, quit shaking about it already." Heatwave really wished he could recharge so deeply, but his systems really cannot, unlike Boulder, who currently was out cold at one spot in the bunker. "There are aliens in the room though."

"Where?!" The bot freaks, transforming out of his helicopter mode to stance himself ready for fate.

There is a long silence, all the bots being quiet while Blades' mind tries to understand as why no one else his joining him to protect the firehouse. At some point, the whole thought finally hit him.

"Right, we are aliens." He says, transforming back into his vehicle mode.

"Technically, in our solar system, we would consider humans as aliens." Chase pipes up, somehow surprising the firetruck.

"Chase, I thought you were recharging." The red bot states. "What in all of Primus are you still doing up?"

"Cody has introduced me to these 'podcasts' and so I have listened to them." Chase answers. "From what I've learned, human laws are quite interesting in a town called Germany."

"I'm pretty sure Germany is a country, don't they have a flag?" Blades questions. "Wait, are they aliens to the Burns'?"

"Can we just stop talking about aliens and get some recharge?" Heatwave asks, clearly wanting to mute the conversation before him right now. "We still have stuff to do tomorrow you know."

"Of course." Chase agrees.

Silence quickly is brought back to the bunker, a peace slowly settling in the air while all the bot remain in their vehicle forms to rest. All was dark and all was quiet, as time would pace depending on the bot who sees it.

It hadn't been till at least around five whole minutes later, when something unquestionably strange happened, the sound of a voice randomly playing.

"According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway. Because bees don't care what humans think is impossible-"

Whatever was being said quickly came to a halt, no bot understanding what they had just heard. Boulder was now very much awake, and confused, but yet, no one could really explain what they just heard.

"Was that English?" Boulder asks, knowing that whatever it was, he currently does not seem to understand.

"No, that was an alien transmission!" Blades was back at it again. "They are talking bad about us!"

"Blades, no." Heatwave speaks up. "Chase, please tell him that the sound wasn't from aliens."

"That was me, it went to my speakers." Chase states. "I have no idea as to why this message is so important to the podcast though."

"I think you need to stop listening to that podcast," Boulder comments. "It's in Spanish, I think."

"Boulder, go recharge it was definitely not in Spanish." Heatwave orders, getting this all done once and for all. "Chase, stop listening to your podcasts and Blades, stop this nonsense on aliens!"

"Heatwave, they could be coming to take over this planet!"

"Blades, we will worry about it when and if it happens. NOW GO INTO RECHARGE!"

"If I may-"

"Chase, No." Blades says, clearly knowing they should stop.
