Two months after our photos got out in public, my life has been on its ups and downs... but mostly downs...

I quit my job from the firm right after that scandal. It's what's best to not affect my name more and the reputation of the firm I was working with. Biglaan lahat, pero lahat naman na yata ng nangyayari sa akin ay unexpected. Kailangan ko talagang maging matatag.

Noong nakaraang buwan, labis na nagcelebrate ang buong team nang manominate ako sa Ilaw, isang prestihiyosong award show na halos limang dekada na sa industriya.

My category is Awiting Pelikula, nominating my song Sinimulang Wakas. Theo and Lianna was also nominated for the lead roles as best actors and actresses. Direk Gwen was for Director.

But when the night of the award shows finally came, nagdadalawang isip ako kung itutuloy ko pa ba ito. Nakapirma ako ng kontrata, once na hindi ako umakyat sa stage para hindi magperform malaki ang mawawala sa akin.

And the exposure of spotlight for me isn't good even now.

Magkakasama kami nila Charmaine at Jared pati na rin ng ibang team sa isang room accommodation kung saan kami binihisan at inayusan.

"Just remember, lagi mo kaming makikita sa table, and we'll always listen to you," sinubukan akong pakalmahin ni Charmaine.

Last week pa kami nakapagrehearse para sa performance kong ito. I will play the piano while also singing. Hindi naman na bago sa akin ito pero ang award shows, masyadong mabigat sa akin ang pressure na ito.

This is a prestigious award show, this isn't like any place where I will perform. There are hundreds of talented people inside this building right now and millions who are watching in the media. I can't screw this up.

When we reached the venue, we proceeded to the carpet. Solo shots muna after kong isinama silang dalawa sa akin.

Itinuro naman kung saan ang table namin. Katapat lang naming ang film team ng Only You kung saan nasa kabilang dulo si Theo at Lianna.

Lianna waves at me, Theo on the other hand smiles.

Habang nagbibigay na sila ng mga award sa iba't ibang category, unti-unti na ring lumalapit ang punto kung kailan ako kakanta.

Hanggang sa dumating na nga ang pinakahihintay ko.

"I'll give you the cue, just as always," the stage manager reminds me then I nod.

The curtains opened, revealing me and the large organ piano on stage and the people in front of me started applauding as I was blinded by the spotlight.

Before I could even close my eyes, I caught Theo, smiling throughout the blinding lights.

Then I heard the cue. I began hitting the keys and started the rendition of this song by humming.
