"Soobin, why the fuck are you acting like this?!" Kara yelled, placing her bowl into the sink.

Soobin didn't look back, "Hm?" He responded, playing with his spoon and cereal.

Kara let out a heavy sigh, fully aware that there was something wrong with Soobin. She wasn't oblivious to the obvious signs. She knew him better than anyone else. After all, he was her little brother, and their bond was strong.

Adjusting her hair so that it was neatly tucked behind her ears, Kara returned back to the dining table and settled herself into a chair. Fixing her gaze upon Soobin, she eagerly awaited his response, hoping to receive a genuine answer from him.

"What?" He said awkwardly.

"Stop acting so oblivious to everything, Soob. What's going on with you?" She asked once more. The room fell silent once more as Kara patiently awaited Soobin's response. However, instead of answering, all that escaped his lips was a weary sigh.

Finally, Kara was done waiting, "Did you and Huening Kai fight?"

Soobin scoffed instantly as he heard the name. Honestly, Soobin had so many other things occupying his mind at that moment that Huening Kai was the furthest thing from his thoughts. In fact, the only person who consumed Soobin's thoughts was... Yeonjun.

Seriously, Yeonjun has been constantly on Soobin's mind lately, and he really shouldn't be. The argument they had a few days ago keeps replaying in Soobin's head. It feels like it's consuming him, and he can't seem to shake it off.

"It's just that every time we spend time together, you're always running off with Huening Kai."

Was that true? Soobin didn't wanna think it was.

"Do you think we really will, though? You spent half the time on the phone with him, and now you're just ditching me to hang out with him?"

Did Yeonjun think he was purposely ditching him???

"Soobin are fucking for real? Did you not listen to anything I said?!"

"Soobin! Soobin! SOOBIN!" Kara yelled.

Once more, he finds himself lost in thought, unable to shake off the persistent nagging of that foolish argument that just won't seem to let go of his mind. "Sorry, noona." He apologized.

"Soobin, what's wrong?" Kara asked, hoping it's her last time asking the same question.

"I– It's just tha– um... Yeonjun." He looked down.

Yeonjun? Kara was caught off guard by the mention of Yeonjun. It was the last person she expected to be connected to Soobin in any way. Yeonjun's presence in the situation only added to Kara's confusion and left her wondering.

"Elaborate, please?" She said.

Why Yeonjun? She thought.

Soobin still seemed to struggle with his words, "W– We um fought– argued?" he stumbled over his words.

Soobin lowered his head, feeling perplexed. Usually, he had no trouble telling his sister things and sharing them with her effortlessly. However, for some reason, it just seems like he can't, as if he had lost the ability to do so. It's confusing him!

"Why?" Kara asked.

Soobin sighed, "Maybe I have ditched him a couple of times." He looked back up seeing his sister with a confused look on her face.

Soobin was aware that Kara was staying silent in order for him to open up more. He let out a deep sigh for the ninth time, feeling the weight of the unspoken words between them.
