The early morning light streamed through the half-drawn curtains, casting a soft, golden glow over the bedroom. Soobin stirred slowly, feeling the warmth of the sun on his face. The bed was warm, too warm, and the comforting weight of the blanket made it hard to fully wake up. He sighed, turning his head to the side, still half-lost in the fog of sleep.

Then, his eyes landed on something that yanked him into full consciousness.

Yeonjun.

Lying right beside him. Completely naked.

Soobin’s heart slammed against his ribs as his eyes widened in disbelief. His brain short-circuited for a moment, unable to process what he was seeing. His breath hitched as panic shot through him like ice water. He felt the blood drain from his face. His mind screamed at him to move, but he was frozen in place.

What the hell…?

His hands trembled as he slowly hesitantly looked down at his own body, lifting the blanket just enough to see—

Oh god. He was naked, too.

A strangled gasp escaped him, and before he could stop himself, a panicked scream tore from his throat, shattering the morning silence.

"WHAT THE—!"

Yeonjun jerked awake at the sound, his body twitching as he scrambled to sit up. His hair was a mess, his eyes half-lidded with sleep as he blinked rapidly, looking around the room in confusion. "What—? What’s happening?"

Soobin, on the verge of hyperventilating, yanked the blanket up to his chest as if it could somehow undo the situation. His mind was spiraling, each thought crashing into the next, an endless loop of what happened, how did this happen, oh my god, oh my god…

Yeonjun sat up fully, still groggy, his hand running through his tousled hair as he tried to piece together why Soobin was freaking out. Then, his eyes caught sight of his own bare chest—and the rest of him.

"Oh… wait…" Yeonjun’s voice was low, a little dazed. His eyes shifted to Soobin, who was looking like he’d seen a ghost. "That wasn’t… a dream?"

Soobin’s face was pale, his lips parted as if he were about to say something, but the words weren’t coming. He was shaking, barely holding onto the blanket, and his heart was beating out of his chest. A dream? If only it was. But no, the evidence was right there, clear as day.

"No, no, no," Soobin muttered under his breath, his panic only growing. "This didn’t—this can’t be real. We promised—Yeonjun, we promised not to do anything!"

Yeonjun’s brow furrowed, the fog of sleep finally clearing as he started to fully understand what was happening. "Soobin, relax—"

"Relax?!" Soobin’s voice cracked, his panic rising even more. "How am I supposed to relax? We messed up, Yeonjun! We seriously messed up!"

Yeonjun reached out, his hand gently brushing Soobin’s shoulder, but Soobin flinched at the touch, his eyes wide and frantic. He felt the weight of guilt pressing down on him, heavy and suffocating. "We need to tell her. We have to tell her right now."

Yeonjun shook his head, trying to keep calm in the face of Soobin’s panic. "No, we don’t. Not right now. We just need to breathe, okay? Calm down, Soobin."

Soobin shook his head, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he fought for air. His hands trembled as they clutched the blanket tighter. "No, Yeonjun, you don’t understand! We promised we wouldn’t—" He was spiraling, his words barely making sense, his guilt consuming him. "We fucked up! We promised nothing would happen, and now look at us!"
