Nearly seven days have passed since Yeonjun was in that argument with Niki. The disbelief still lingered in Yeonjun's mind, unable to comprehend why his younger brother would think such a thing.

Him liking, Soobin? Never.

So, for that reason, he's made the decision to give Kara a call. Despite avoiding her calls for some time, he ultimately decides to reach out to her. However, he is fully aware of the anger and frustration she is most likely going to express when he finally speaks to her.

Mentally bracing himself for the confrontation, he dials her number and waits for her to pick up.

The moment the phone started dialing, he couldn't help but feel a surge of anxiety and nervousness as he waited for Kara to answer. The feeling seemed to spread throughout his entire body, making him release a breath he didn't even realize he was holding.

After a brief pause, she eventually answers the phone. Yeonjun remains silent, allowing Kara to speak her frustrations, curse at him, and express her emotions freely. However, as time passes, there is still no response from the other end of the line, leaving Yeonjun feeling confused and unsure of how to continue.

"...Kara?" He hesitantly spoke.

Still no response from the other end.

Hesitantly, Yeonjun speaks again, "Kara, I'm sorry." He apologized, pressing the speaker button in order for him not to miss what she might say.

"... For what?" She finally responded.

"...For- for ignoring you the past few days. I'm sorry, I was just having a hard time, and I needed some space-" He admitted but was soon cut off.

"I have already forgiven you." She sighs as if she's admitting defeat.

Yeonjun's eyes widened with shock and confusion by Kara's unexpected response. He had been certain that she would never forgive him or even engage in conversation with him again. It surprised him that she wasn't angry with him, shouldn't she be mad? Well, at least he didn't get yelled at.

"Yeonjun?" Kara spoke.

"... Sorry I spaced out, I just didn't think you would forgive me that fast."

"At first, I was pretty angry with you, but I realized you probably just needed some time for yourself. Actually, I was just about to call you and ask if you were okay, but you called me." She smiled, Yeonjun could hear her smiling over the phone.

"Yeah." He wasn't so sure what to say next.

After a few seconds of silence, Kara broke it. "Let's have a picnic date together! I missed hanging out with you."

"Okay, sure, let's go. When do you want us to go?" He said.

Kara thought for a bit, "How about 4?"

Yeonjun quickly checked the time. It was 2:30 pm right now, "Okay, I'll get ready in a bit."

Kara mumbled quietly. "I love you."

"Love you too." Yeonjun said and ended the call quickly.

Yeonjun immediately headed to his closet, sifting through his wardrobe to carefully select a charming and stylish outfit for his date. He carefully examined each piece of clothing, considering various combinations and accessories to create the perfect look that would make him feel confident and fashionable.

Several minutes passed before he was able to select the perfect outfit for his date with Kara. He settled on a sleek black shirt paired with a vibrant blue zip-up that complimented his features perfectly. His denim baggy jeans completed the look, giving him a casual yet stylish vibe. To add a touch of flair, he decided to accessorize with black beanie and silver hoop earrings.
