Yeonjun was sound asleep in his cozy bed when the loud ringing of his phone abruptly jolted him awake. Letting out a groan of annoyance, he sleepily reached for his phone and squinted at the screen to see who was calling. It was his girlfriend.

As he struggled to keep his eyes open, he debated whether or not to answer the incoming phone call. The thought of speaking to her at that moment seemed overwhelming, as he was already exhausted.

Feeling the strain of exhaustion, he gently massaged his tired eyes while he still wondered whether or not to respond to her. Eventually, he let out a weary sigh and reluctantly picked up the phone, mustering enough energy to utter a fatigued "Hello?"

"Babe! Guess what!" His girlfriend said in excitement.

Yeonjun attempted to match the excitement in her voice as he asked, "What?" However, his attempt fell short as he miserably failed to replicate the same tone.

"Soobin and Huening Kai are dating!" She said.

Yeonjun's tiredness went away instantly as he heard her words, leaving him stunned as he attempted to comprehend her words. "What...?" he uttered in disbelief.

"There dating! Huening Kai asked him out, and he said yes!" Kara explained.

"Why would he say yes?" Yeonjun quietly muttered.

"Hm? What do you say, Yeonjun?" Kara asked.

Yeonjun's eyes widened in realization of the words that had just slipped out of his mouth. The relief washed over him as he realized that Kara hadn't heard him. Trying to regain his composure, he stammered, "Huh? Oh, I mean, I just said that's good. That's all." The nerves were palpable in his voice as he desperately tried to downplay the slip-up.

"Oh, I know! Okay, but that's all I needed to tell you. Bye, I love you."

"Right, bye." He ended the call.

Yeonjuns thought about Huening Kai and Soobin and couldn't help but wonder why Soobin would say yes to Huening Kai?

He rubbed his tired eyes and lay back on his bed, checking the time. It was 12:00am, he needed to sleep, closing his eyes in an attempt to fall back asleep. His mind was filled with confusion as he tried to make sense of the situation.

Slowly, he drifted off into a slumber.

Yeonjun stood in the kitchen, cracking eggs into a sizzling pan as he bopped his head to the beat of the music playing in the background. The scent of the cooking eggs filled the room, mixing with the sounds of the music to create a comforting and lively atmosphere.

Yeonjun hummed along to the tune as he stirred the eggs, his stomach growling as he kept smelling the eggs. After the eggs had finished cooking, he switched off the stove and carefully placed them onto a plate. He took some rice out of the rice cooker and began eating.

Yeonjun couldn't help but let out a satisfied moan as he savored the flavor of his eggs. "Damm, I'm so good at making food." he mused aloud, happily bobbing his head to the music playing in the background as he ate in his meal.
