Pov: Aoom

Beach.
Beach is relaxing.
I am relaxed. I haven't felt like this for so long, that I didn't even remembered how it felt.

I'm sat on my towel on the sand reading my book, Meena is playing on the water, sometimes I look at her to make sure she's ok and having fun, and every single time she is there smiling or laughing with some girls she met. Her smile. I love her smile.
I never thought that I would be able to undersand or feel like "She was a shot of expresso" but now it is more than clear.

I look around and everything seems like a dream.
The colors in summers are so bright and the scents are so intense which makes the scenario itself look unreal.

- Hi pretty girl.- She pecked my lips.
I look up to see the most perfect girl in the world.
- Hey, are you done with the water?
- No, but now I'm tired.- She laid down, but didn't close her eyes, instead, she kept looking at me, I can't explain, but I knew something was bothering her.
I touched her hair since we were close to each other. I closed my book.
- I saw you made some friends.- I giggled.
- Yeah, they speaked to me in portuguese at first, I was like girl what.
- Really? They're looking over here. Did you told them you were coming back?
Just like that she got up and covered me with another towel.
- What was that?- I laughed.
- Nothing- She smiled and kissed me again.

I decided to ignore it, if something was really wrong she would tell me so I know is probably nothing much.

- What are you reading but the way?
- Ace of spades.
- Is it gay?- She giggled.
- The main characters are bi and gay so yes.
- You really like gay books don't you?- She laughed- you want an ice cream? I'm going to buy one for me.
- Yes please, strawberry magnum.
- Yes Ma'am- She winked at me.

After a few minutes she left, one of the girls Meena was talking later started coming on my direction
- Excuse me?- She asked.
- Yes, do you need something- I Said on a soft tone trying to be nice.
- I really like your hair- She smiled shyly.
Oh.
- Thank you- I laughed.
- It really fits you. I mean you're hot in general but---
- Baby they didn't had strawberry but I bought caramel.- Meena appeared saving me from this situation.
- Thank you hon.
- What are you doing here Raquel? Do you need something?- She asked wrapping her hand over me.

The girl didn't know what to do, She apologized and literally run away. When I look back to Meena I understood why she run, oh my God, she probably thought she was going to beat her or something.

- That was why you came so sudden?- I teased.
She looked at me and laid without answered. I knew she wasn't mad at me or anything. Jealous Meena a neverending saga.

- She said "my friend" was hot. - She pouted.
I laughed hard and patted her head.
- And what did you say.- I tried to be serious this time.
- I said you were already taken. And you know what She said????? So what? That bitch said so what? Even get friends were like bestie WTF?

I didn't say anything at first because honetly I didn't know what to say.

- You're the one who made me promise I was going to be relaxed. Don't worry about it baby. I love you.
- I know and I love you too, but she was asking for a---
- Shhh- I say kissing her.- stop talking about it. You said that that when we arrive we would be able to do...what I want- I traced her jaw.
Her faced changed immediately.
- Oh darling, and we will, but now we are on the beach. Later.
- Fineeee- not that I was expecting to do it now or something, but I would be lying if I say I not craving for it.
- come with me.- She pulled me by the hand
- Where?
- To the sea.
- AHAHAH stop it's so cold.- but as soon as said it she started tickling me.
- You get used to it.

Pov: Meena

After playing in the water for a long time, we decided to go back to sand so we could in a few minutes watch the sunset.
When I was younger, I use to see this things in movies and scream "ewwwww". Look at me now.
- What's so funny?
I didn't even realized I laughed out loud.

- Just thinking.- I start playing with her hair.
- About?
- About how I never thought I would be this clingy.- I hugged her thight.
- Meena you're killing me- she laughed.
- You're the one who said that your type was a clingy person, deal with the consequences now.
She looks at me and smiles.
- It's been so long since we were like this.
- I know I know- I kissed her temple.
- I had a dream with you yesterday.- She giggled.
- With me? Was it good?
- Didn't you hear what I just said? I dramed with you. You. Of course it was good.
- Ahahah ok, got it, what was it about.
She blushed as soon as I asked, making me smirk.
- IT WASN'T LIKE THAT. I SWEAR.
- Really? Oh.- I pouted. However as soon as she told what was it about my pout whlent away immediately.
- We got married...- she whispered.

I smiled wide.
- One day we will, I promise.
Her eyes were watery. And a single tear droped.
- I love you.-she pulled me into a hug.

At least I'm not the only on clingy.
She never fails to make me feel like this.
I've never felt so alive.

- Look the sun is setting.

We cuddle while talking about how we would like our marriage to be.

One day. I thought to myself. One day.

I wrote this while studying physics and math so 😭
